SAP Adventures - 2 day Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu
We booked a 2 day (1 night) Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu, and honestly the communication was amazing from the start. A big thank you to Rouse and Nali, and being flexible as we decided to book our won hotel in Aguas Calientes, and got the 8am Circuit 2 passes we wanted. The guides Jhojhan (Sacred Valley) and Paul (Machu Picchu) were excellent, extremely knowledgeable and interesting too. Also punctual on time, and they were happy to go at our pace. I would highly recommend SAP Adventures for your Peru Adventures!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! ⭐️ We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. 😊 We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your trip and had a great experience with our team! 🏔️✨ Thank you for trusting SAP Adventures! We hope to see you again in Peru soon!

Good itinerary, but accommodation and communication fell short
We did the 3-day Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tour. The itinerary itself was good, but overall the experience did not fully match what was promised. The hotel was described as three-star, but it did not feel comparable. Our room was very noisy facing the street, and there was no hot water from the tap. Communication was also slower than expected, which added unnecessary stress during the trip — for example, our train was only confirmed about 24 hours before departure. The guide at Machu Picchu was friendly, but she did not speak English, which created confusion, especially during the stressful ticket queue. Overall, the tour had good parts, but the accommodation and communication need improvement.
Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you very much for your feedback, and we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu portions of your trip. We also appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns regarding the accommodation, communication, and guide services, as this helps us continue improving our operations. We completely understand that the room may not have met your personal expectations, particularly regarding the noise and hot water issue. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and have shared your comments with the accommodation provider so they can review these concerns and work on improvements. Regarding communication and train confirmation, we understand your concern. During periods of high demand, final train assignments and schedules may sometimes only be confirmed shortly before departure. While this process depends on the train operators, we recognize that it can create uncertainty for travelers, and we will continue working to improve the speed and clarity of our communications. Concerning the assistance provided during the ticket process, we sincerely apologize for any confusion caused. Our local staff was assigned to coordinate the logistics and support the ticket purchase process. However, we understand that stronger English communication would have made the experience more comfortable and less stressful, especially during the ticket queue. We genuinely value your comments and appreciate your understanding. Feedback like yours helps us improve our services and provide a better experience for future travelers. Thank you once again for choosing Sap Adventures, and we wish you all the best in your future travels. Kind regards, Sap Adventures

Unforgettable 2 Days
On the first day, in the Sacred Valley, everything went smoothly. The pick up, at 6:20 am, was easy with good communication. All the stops were interesting and well timed. Andy did a great job giving us information and keeping the group moving, 11 people. The buffet lunch was also good with some live music. We had plenty of time to get to the train that is 1 hour and 40 min of looking out the window because of the landscape. The hotel in Aguas Calientes was clean and quiet with breakfast. Our guide for the next day came to the hotel in the morning and accompanied us on the bus and for the first half of our time at Machu Picchu. Edgar was personable with plenty of good history about the site. The second half of our time was up to us. We stayed another 2 1/2 hours which was great. I climbed Machu Picchu mountain and my spouse relaxed and enjoyed the scenery. We got on a bus back and had plenty of time for a nice lunch before the train. The pick up went smooth again with another good driver and we were dropped off at our apartment in Cusco, 6:30 pm, after a wonderful 2 days. Sap Adventures Team did a perfect job with all the logistics. Very well organized without any issues. We would highly recommend it. Tip: Not everyone in our group had purchased the exact same tour, so make sure the guide knows what you have included on your specific tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your detailed review! We’re delighted to know you enjoyed your 2-day experience, from the Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu. 🏔️✨ We truly appreciate your kind words about Andy, Edgar, our team, and the organization of the trip. It was a pleasure to be part of your journey, and thank you for recommending SAP Adventures! We hope to welcome you again in Peru.

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu in 2 Days: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu in 2 Days cost?
+
Prices start at $425 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu in 2 Days take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu in 2 Days worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu in 2 Days?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu in 2 Days suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu in 2 Days?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu in 2 Days start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals, Excursion to Rainbow Mountain Full Day Optional Red Valley. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
