Round Trip Punta Cana Airport Transfers - Private/VIP

Warning: Bait-and-switch title. Demanded extra cash & Viator refused to refund!

Avoid MAGA Tours. I booked an airport transfer under a listing explicitly titled "Round Trip Punta Cana Airport Transfers - Private/VIP". However, as soon as we got on the bus upon arrival, the operator informed me that they would not provide the return trip to the airport unless I paid an extra $20 in cash, claiming a "Viator website error." The exact same listing has remained active with the "Round Trip" title for days. They intentionally use "Round Trip" in the main title to get bookings, then try to shake travelers down for extra cash under the table once you arrive. I refused to pay their unauthorized cash surcharge and had to book my return transportation with a different, honest company. To make matters worse, after filing a formal complaint and dispute with Viator, the company refused to reimburse me 50% of the fee for the return trip they failed to provide. Complete bait-and-switch and zero customer protection from Viator. Save yourself the headache and book with a different company directly.

The reservation you purchased was for a one-way transfer only. While the listing offers round-trip transfer options, customers must select and pay for the specific service they wish to receive. In your case, the booking confirmation we received clearly showed a one-way arrival transfer. You were responsible for reviewing the reservation details before completing your purchase. We also have screenshots documenting the reservation exactly as it was booked. During your stay, you contacted us regarding transportation outside the resort. We gladly explained, in Spanish, that we could provide transportation services and quoted the requested trips. You chose to visit BlueMall and later Doña Pula restaurant. At no time were these transportation services offered free of charge. Any transportation service involves operating costs, fuel, vehicle maintenance, and the driver's time. We respect every customer's right to share their experience, and we always strive to provide excellent service and fair solutions. However, we believe it is unfair to accuse our company of dishonesty when the service provided matched the reservation that was purchased. After years of providing transportation services in Punta Cana and serving thousands of satisfied travelers, this is one of the very few negative reviews we have received. We remain committed to transparency, professionalism, and excellent customer service for every guest. We wish you the best in your future travels.
