About this experience

Since 2025, access to Roque Nublo has been limited to preserve the environment of this natural jewel, an emblem of Gran Canaria. There is no more parking in the area, you can only get there by public transport or with authorised guides. Therefore, it is not possible to visit it independently. We are Ines and Juanjo, and we are here to offer the best hiking experience to Roque Nublo. You are not going to go on a bus tour in a large group going from one commercial stop to another. Instead of this, you will discover the real Gran Canaria accompanied by 2 local Canarian guides on a tour for a maximum of 6 passengers. We will spend our time visiting the astonishing centre of the island, including the incredible nature and views from the most emblematic point in Gran Canaria (Roque Nublo). You will learn about our history, culture and legends in an experience that you will never forget. Also, a picnic (sandwiches and fruit) is included. Book at Sky Rebels site and save up to 12 €.

Roque Nublo: hiking on volcanoes with Sky Rebels: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Gran Canaria.

How much does Roque Nublo: hiking on volcanoes with Sky Rebels cost?

+

Prices start at $84 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Gran Canaria usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Roque Nublo: hiking on volcanoes with Sky Rebels take?

+

Plan for about 5.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Gran Canaria is not rushed.

Is Roque Nublo: hiking on volcanoes with Sky Rebels worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 106 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Gran Canaria, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Roque Nublo: hiking on volcanoes with Sky Rebels?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Roque Nublo: hiking on volcanoes with Sky Rebels suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 5.5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Roque Nublo: hiking on volcanoes with Sky Rebels?

+

Around 37 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Gran Canaria can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Gran Canaria and add a light layer if any part of the 5.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Roque Nublo: hiking on volcanoes with Sky Rebels start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Gran Canaria within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Gran Canaria?

+

On Outty we rank every Gran Canaria experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Puerto de Mogán: Coastal Cruise with Optional Snorkeling & Lunch, Guided tour of the Banana World, The Volcano Heart Tour: Hiking, Tasting and Sunset Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Gran Canaria?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Gran Canaria?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
