1. Welcome to the Campidoglio, the sacred hill where Rome has decided its fate for centuries. From here we will start a tour of the squares that reveal the deep essence of the Eternal City. As we ascend the monumental ramp, we will see how the square opens as a stage designed by Michelangelo to symbolize the rebirth of Roman power. This place was the political heart of the Republic and continues to represent the identity of a city that has influenced laws, art and culture around the world. In the center we will discover the equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius, father of Commodus, killed by the Antonine Plague, the epidemic that marked his time. His figure embodies the tension between virtue and imperial decline. To the left we will observe the Tabularium, former archive of the State, located under the current City Hall, reminding us that Rome continues to govern itself over its own roots. From here we will begin an epic journey through the squares that tell the living history of Rome.

2. When you arrive at Plaza Venezia you will see how Rome changes its pace: here the city vibrates between history, power and constant movement. In front of us we will discover the imposing Monument to Victor Manuel II, symbol of Italian unification and one of the most recognizable icons of the city. Next to it we will observe the Venezia Palace, a Renaissance fortress that became a key stage of the 20th century. From his famous balcony, which we will appreciate from the square, Benito Mussolini announced the entry of Italy into World War II, a moment that marked deeply the history of the country. This point allows us to understand how Rome has been the scene of decisions that changed the course of Europe. In addition, we will see how this square connects with Via del Corso, the artery that joins centuries of commerce, processions and daily life, reminding us that Rome has always been a crossroads where past, power and present coexist in the same vibrant space.

3. As we move towards Plaza de la Minerva we will see Rome change scale: from monumental grandeur we move to an intimate corner where history becomes symbolic and surprising. In the center we will discover Bernini’s famous elephant, which holds an Egyptian obelisk from the sixth century BC; a work that represents the union between ancient wisdom and Christian power. In front of him we will observe the Basilica of Santa Maria sopra Minerva, built on an ancient temple dedicated to the goddess Minerva, protector of knowledge. This place sums up the essence of Rome: layers of faith, art and civilization superimposed over millennia. Inquisition trials were also held here and Galileo was forced to abjure his ideas, reminding us that Rome is not only beautiful, but also the intellectual conflicts that marked Europe. From this square we will continue to one of the most vibrant and scenic spaces in the city: the majestic Plaza Navona.

4. When you arrive at Plaza Navona you will see how Rome transforms an old stadium into one of its most spectacular squares. Below our feet is the Stadium of Domitian, a Roman circus of the 1st century whose shape still defines the layout of the square and which today can be visited in its underground level. In this unique setting we will discover the only square of Rome with three monumental fountains, crowned by Bernini's masterpiece: the Fountain of Four Rivers, where the great rivers of the known world come alive in marble. In front of it we will observe the church of Santa Agnes in Agony, designed by Borromini, Bernini's direct rival in an artistic competition that marked the Roman Baroque. According to tradition, here occurred the miracle of Saint Agnes, when the young martyr was protected from the flames, turning this place into a symbol of faith and resistance. Navona is an open-air theatre where art, history and legend coexist in the same vibrant space.

5. In front of the Pantheon we will see one of the most influential temples in the world, saved from destruction thanks to its conversion into a Christian basilica, a detail that changed its fate. Its portico of Egyptian columns supports a pediment marked by a decisive fact: the original bronze was removed by papal order and transformed into cannons and ornaments that reinforced the power of the time. Some of that metal reappeared centuries later during the period of the kings of Italy and unified Italy, showing how Rome repurposes its own history. From the outside we will observe its dome, the largest unreinforced concrete dome ever built, a feat that challenged engineers for centuries and became a model for temples, parliaments and museums around the world. Even from the outside, this building demonstrates why the Pantheon remains the most imitated monument in history and an absolute symbol of Roman genius, capable of influencing entire cultures.

6. Trevi Fountain

   When you arrive at the Trevi Fountain you will see the most famous fountain in the world, where Rome mixes art, myth and spectacle. In front of us we will discover a monument that culminates the Virgo Aqueduct, the same that supplied imperial Rome two thousand years ago. Its baroque design, dominated by Ocean, symbolizes the power of water as a force that gave life to the city and as propaganda for Roman dominance over engineering. Here was born the legend of desires: one coin ensures the return to Rome; two coins, a new love; three coins, a deep desire that the city will keep. This gesture moves millions a year for social works, turning a simple ritual into a real impact. Trevi demonstrates how Rome transforms a myth into a global icon that influences the cinema, culture and imagination of millions of travelers, keeping alive a tradition that connects past and present.

7. When you arrive at Plaza de España you will see one of the most emblematic scenes of Rome, where art, fashion and urban power meet. In front of us we will discover the steps of the Trinity of the Mountains, born between disputes: France financed the upper church, Spain controlled the lower square and Rome joined both worlds with a monumental staircase that became symbolic of the city. At your feet we will observe the Barcaccia, the Baroque fountain of Pietro and Gian Lorenzo Bernini, inspired by a semi-sunken boat after the great flood of the Tiber. On one side opens Via Condotti, famous for its historic boutiques and for being the runner of the old Grand Tour. Here the view is breathtaking: the stairs ascend like an open-air theater, the Barcaccia marks the center of the scene and the energy of Via Condotti turns this place into a point where Rome shows its elegance and its international magnetism.
