Behind it lies the Ancient Roman area of the city, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. You will have time to see the Colosseum. Then, it will be time to drive by the Palatine Hill and the Baths of Caracalla until you reach the glorious Pantheon, where you will have time to explore the square and enter the site to marvel at the inlaid marble floors and beautiful statues. You will also have time to walk around Piazza Navona with its stunning monumental fountains and climb the stairs at the Spanish Steps for a view of the lively square below before you head to Trevi Fountain to toss a coin in for good luck. Time to move on to the Appian Way area where you will spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the underground catacombs with a guided tour offered by the Catacomb staff, before returning to your ship.

Excellent tour and guide
Excellent way to see Rome when we only had a few hours. Peter met us at the pier, showed us all the highlights. Stopped for us to get out, explore, and take pictures.
