The best climbing tour in Oaxaca for beginners and climbers.
The tour with Fabs and Regi was incredible. There were beginners in the group but also people who already climbed. It was a very fun tour, they set routes for all levels, I practiced lead climbing. I was worried about going alone and not having a climbing partner, but it was great. Afterward we went to eat and everything was delicious. I highly recommend it. Fabs is a great coach, he knows the betas. Regis is always motivating.

Una experiencia inolvidable
Fabián and Regina are awesome! They know the area very well and give you the encouragement you need to keep going. My wife and I tried routes we would have never tried otherwise, and felt safe the entire time. They provide delicious snacks and great recommendations for the rest of your trip as well. If we ever make it back to Oaxaca, we will contact them again for another awesome adventure

My First Outdoor Climbing Experience — And I Loved It!
This was my first time outdoor climbing, and it was way better than I expected! With the encouragement of my two awesome guides, I managed to complete three climbs, and I felt more confident with each one. I also learned a lot about outdoor climbing along the way. My guides were super professional, friendly, and easygoing. We honestly felt more like friends than guides and guests—we chatted, had breakfast together, and shared music. The whole experience felt so free and relaxed. I’m pretty sure this trip will be one of the reasons I keep climbing outdoors. I guess that’s what climbing is all about: don’t overthink it, keep going, and enjoy the ride!

The best climbing in Oaxaca
Every climbing trip with the Ewa team has been a great experience and this summer I was able to enjoy it a lot. I love that on every trip there are new challenges to achieve and that with their guidance, as they are great climbers and coaches, the challenges are achieved and above all one is guaranteed fun in a super relaxed environment and with all the safety equipment.

Rock Stopover in Oaxaca (shared tour up to 6 people): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oaxaca City.
How much does Rock Stopover in Oaxaca (shared tour up to 6 people) cost?
+
Prices start at $86 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oaxaca City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Rock Stopover in Oaxaca (shared tour up to 6 people) take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oaxaca City is not rushed.
Is Rock Stopover in Oaxaca (shared tour up to 6 people) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Oaxaca City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Rock Stopover in Oaxaca (shared tour up to 6 people)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Rock Stopover in Oaxaca (shared tour up to 6 people) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Rock Stopover in Oaxaca (shared tour up to 6 people)?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oaxaca City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oaxaca City and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Rock Stopover in Oaxaca (shared tour up to 6 people) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oaxaca City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Oaxaca City?
+
On Outty we rank every Oaxaca City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hierve el Agua 2.5 hours, Mitla, Tule, Rugs and Mezcal for a Day, OAXACA CULTURAL FOOD TOUR, eat like a local., Monte Alban for 3hrs, Black Pottery and Alebrijes with Admissions. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Oaxaca City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Oaxaca City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Rock Stopover in Oaxaca (shared tour up to 6 people)?
