A fun, fabulous, family friendly experience.

The instructor Daniel was friendly and knowledgeable, very supportive & encouraging to our daughters aged 12 & 10. They both felt engaged and had fun, and came away with new skills. It was overall a fantastic experience and beautiful views of the river and city. Highly recommend it.

On the rocks!

What a great time climbing. 2 hours on the wall was plenty. Difficult climbs were set but we had a fantastic climb. If you can rent climbing shoes I recommend doing so ir just go barefoot.

Awesome twilight rock climbing

My friend and I took our daughters for the twilight rock climbing during the school holiday. Our girls are 12 and 13, and they absolutely loved it. The instructor was very friendly and patient. We would love to try other activities next time!

Response from the operator: That is awesome to hear! We hope to see you and the girls soon :)

Rock-climbing Fun

My son 14 and I both enjoyed this very much. It was our first time rock-climbing and the staff, Melissa and Daniel were very helpful and supportive every step. We felt safe and encouraged. Kangaroo Point cliffs is a great natural spot and we enjoyed the walk along them, and climbing them to the top. It was a great experience for our confidence, and trust. We had a complimentary hot chocolate and chai latte at the end. We met some lovely people doing it and would go again for sure. I booked through Groupon.

Response from the operator: Thanks for sharing your review! We're glad you and your son had such a great first rock-climbing experience at Kangaroo Point. It’s awesome to hear that Melissa and Daniel helped you both feel safe and supported, and that you enjoyed winding down with a hot drink afterward. :)

Rock climbing Kangaroo Point

My kids had the most amazing rock climbing experience with Riverlife. There were various routes of ascending grades and so suitable for my daughter and son who are experienced rock climbers and for those who have never tried rock climbing before. The Riverlife team were so welcoming, friendly, professional and most importantly so passionate about their sport and what they do. They really wanted everyone to succeed and have a great experience and this really shone through. I would highly recommend Riverlife.

Response from the operator: Thanks for sharing such a great review! We're glad your kids had an awesome time on the cliffs. It's fantastic to hear that our rock climbing routes catered well to their skill level, and that the team’s passion and encouragement made the session so positive for everyone.

Rock Climbing at the Kangaroo Point Cliffs in Brisbane: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Brisbane.

How much does Rock Climbing at the Kangaroo Point Cliffs in Brisbane cost?

+

Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Brisbane usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Rock Climbing at the Kangaroo Point Cliffs in Brisbane take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Brisbane is not rushed.

Is Rock Climbing at the Kangaroo Point Cliffs in Brisbane worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 48 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Brisbane, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Rock Climbing at the Kangaroo Point Cliffs in Brisbane?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Rock Climbing at the Kangaroo Point Cliffs in Brisbane suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Rock Climbing at the Kangaroo Point Cliffs in Brisbane?

+

Around 17 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Brisbane can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Brisbane and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Rock Climbing at the Kangaroo Point Cliffs in Brisbane start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Brisbane within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Brisbane?

+

On Outty we rank every Brisbane experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Brisbane River Cruise with entry to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, North Stradbroke Island WILDLIFE Adventure Tour from Brisbane, Australia Zoo Day Trip from Brisbane. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Brisbane?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Brisbane?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
