Cycling was the best way to see Brisbane

This was voted by the whole family as the best activity that we did in Brisbane. We spent a wonderful afternoon cycling along the river and around the city, which is super accessible for bikes. Our tour guide paced the tour beautifully and gave us lots of interesting information about Brisbane, both historical and current, without oversharing. All round a great afternoon.

Response from the operator: Hi Sarah, thank you so much for leaving such a wonderful and kind review. What a compliment to receive as the best activity you did in Brisbane - that is exactly what we strive for so it is great to hear we hit the mark. Guy does a brilliant job on the bike tours and he loves sharing his knowledge with visitors - there is so much to learn about the city and we hope it helped you love Brisbane as much as we do! Thank you for choosing Urban Tours and we hope to welcome you all on another one of our tours in the future. Safe Travels Cheryl

Amazing tour with Guy!

This was an amazing tour! Guy was very knowledgeable and took very good care of us making sure we were comfortable on our bikes and that no one was left behind. The cruiser bikes were super comfy. We saw so much in 2 hours that we never would have seen just walking around. It was a great start to our visit to Brisbane!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the incredible review Kelly. We are absolutely thrilled to hear that you had such a great start to your Brisbane visit. Guy is a fantastic guide, and he’ll be delighted to know his care and knowledge made you feel comfortable and looked after. The cruiser bikes really are a great way to see the city and I am glad that you enjoyed all the spots he took you to. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your time exploring Brisbane, and we hope to welcome you back on one of our other tours in the future. Cheryl

Great experience!

We loved this all around bike tour! Staff was wonderful getting us set up and our guide, Guy, was the best. A fun route thru and over a great variety of areas. Best way to get a good feel and view of Brisbane while cycling and learning a lot! Highly recommend! ~ Anne from Seattle

Response from the operator: Hi Anne Thank you so much for the great review! We are thrilled that you enjoyed the route and felt well-taken care of by the bike experts and Guy. We’ve always felt that cycling is a wonderful way to see the variety of Brisbane's landscapes, and we're so glad you agree! We intentionally keep our group sizes small so our guests can easily chat with Guy, ask questions, and really connect with the local culture rather than just riding past it. It was a pleasure having a visitor from Seattle join our tou. We hope the rest of your travels are just as fun—come back and see us next time you're in town! Cheryl :)

Great tour; great guide!

Our guide was Matt. He was so friendly and knowledgeable about Brisbane city with interesting stories about its landmarks and history. At the end of the tour, he was so kind & helpful and travelled with us on the ferry (his treat) so that we could enjoy the buzz of the Howard Smith Wharf area. Huge thanks! 🇦🇺🇨🇦

Response from the operator: Hi Julie, Thank you so much for your wonderful review - we are delighted to hear that Matt made such a good impression on your Brisbane walking tour. We are very proud of our guides and it is great to know you enjoyed Matt's stories and insights into Brisbane’s landmarks. We especially love that he went the extra mile to hop on the ferry with you. Thank you for choosing Urban Tours and we hope to have you on an other tour in the future Cheryl

Scenic Brisbane City Bike Tour | Small Group & Local Guide: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Brisbane.

How much does Scenic Brisbane City Bike Tour | Small Group & Local Guide cost?

+

Prices start at $105 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Brisbane usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Scenic Brisbane City Bike Tour | Small Group & Local Guide take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Brisbane is not rushed.

Is Scenic Brisbane City Bike Tour | Small Group & Local Guide worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Brisbane, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Scenic Brisbane City Bike Tour | Small Group & Local Guide?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Scenic Brisbane City Bike Tour | Small Group & Local Guide suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Scenic Brisbane City Bike Tour | Small Group & Local Guide?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Brisbane can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Brisbane and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Scenic Brisbane City Bike Tour | Small Group & Local Guide start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Brisbane within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Brisbane?

+

On Outty we rank every Brisbane experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Brisbane River Cruise with entry to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, North Stradbroke Island WILDLIFE Adventure Tour from Brisbane, Australia Zoo Day Trip from Brisbane. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Brisbane?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Brisbane?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
