    Almost perfect…

We had a great tour with Tyra, and saw most of what was promised. The Iguanas and sloths were amazing, but due to a miscommunication from Tyra, we ended up not getting to go to the nature park and the suspension bridge. It was a disappointing end to what started out to be a nice tour.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the iguanas and sloths and that most of your tour was a great experience. We would like to clarify what happened regarding the nature park and suspension bridge. During the tour, we decided to visit a different nature park because both guests were seniors, and the park with the suspension bridge requires quite a bit of walking and includes areas that can be more physically demanding. We chose an alternative park with a flatter and easier walking surface so that you could enjoy the wildlife experience more comfortably and safely. We sincerely apologize if this change was not clearly communicated at the time. We understand that you were expecting the suspension bridge and nature park that were part of the original itinerary, and we regret the disappointment this caused. Our intention was simply to make the experience more comfortable for you based on the circumstances that day. We truly appreciate your understanding and your feedback, as clear communication with our guests is very important to us.

First time in Roatan...best option to see top sites with ultimate comfort

Rex was our private driver in an air conditioned vehicle. He took us to see the macaws, monkeys, sloths, iguanas, chocolate sampling, and shopping at the market. Our final stop was a viewpoint where he took our picture. He was burned and raised on the island so he personalized his stories. He took his us back directly into the cruise port as we had another excursion to attend. He was so very personable and knowledgeable. His English is impeccable. Once you arrive in Port, you will need to leave the port area. Ask any vendors how to find your driver as they know each other. You just need to know the driver's name or the organization name. One of the vendors whistled to our organization and we were met directly on the street and introduced to our driver, Rex. Also, by having a private driver, you will avoid the bus loads of cruise afflicted excursions.

Response from the operator: Hello Bonnie,Thank you for your kind review! We're so glad you enjoyed the island tour, animals, with Rex We’ll be sure to share your kind words with him We appreciate you visiting and hope to welcome you back again!
