5 Star Private Roatan tour
Excellent option for Roatan visit. First - Walk through the port, past the parking lot, the gates to the area and exit the port area. Across the street someone will meet you with a 2K sign. We arrived with no definite plan but Melissa our private driver and another member of their team helped us plan our tour. For an additional $40 each we choose to drive to the southeast part of the island for a private boat ride through the mangroves. En route we bought a local iced coffee to drink that was very flavourful, and dare I say significant tastier than the big brands back home... We enjoyed this very much and we were able to see the coast from a different perspective. We saw homes and boats and local water related businesses. It was peaceful and beautiful. We got a very good general tour of the island and an opportunity to shop at a local grocery store at my request. I always enjoy seeing what grocery items and produce are selling for. We stopped at a chocolate store and bought Honduran coffee and chocolate for family back home . We walked through souvenir stores and I found perfect sun shirts for the men in our family. And then we headed back to the ship, pleased with our day in Roatan. I highly recommend this company and Melissa to introduce you to the Honduran culture. 5 stars in every way.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful 5-star review! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It was truly a pleasure having you with us and showing you the beauty and culture of Roatán. We’re especially happy that Melissa and our team were able to help turn your day into an unforgettable island adventure, even though you arrived without a definite plan. The mangrove boat ride, local coffee, island sightseeing, shopping, Honduran chocolate and coffee, and discovering the local way of life made your visit extra special. We love giving our guests the opportunity to experience the real Roatán beyond the typical tourist spots, and we’re so glad you enjoyed seeing our coastal communities, homes, boats, and local businesses from a different perspective. Thank you for recommending 2K’s Adventures Tours and Melissa! 💙🌴 Your kind words mean so much to our small, local family-owned business. We hope to welcome you back to Roatán again for another adventure! With gratitude, The 2K’s Adventures Tours Team

Beautiful Roatán, Super Hot Day, and a Bit of Guesswork
We booked a private tour in Roatán through Viator and overall had a good experience, though there were a few things worth noting for future travelers. Meeting up was a bit chaotic. After leaving the port, we had to walk quite a distance to the designated area, where there were many taxi drivers calling out and offering rides. It felt overwhelming at first, but to be fair, most of them were actually trying to help us find our driver. Once we located the tour company, we waited about 5-7 minutes for our driver to arrive. Our driver, Melissa, was very kind, friendly, and easy to talk to. Her English was excellent, which made communication easy. However, we were hoping for more of a guided, cultural experience, and it felt like she wasn’t fully prepared for that type of tour. Since it was our first time in Roatán, we were relying on her to lead the way - but she frequently asked us where we wanted to go. That put us in a bit of an awkward position since we didn’t know the area at all. At one point, she even called her boss for suggestions, which added to the feeling that the tour lacked direction. That said, we still made the most of it and enjoyed the time. We visited the West End and stopped at a restaurant for lunch at her recommendation, which was a great spot for views. The food was mediocre. One small thing that didn’t sit quite right with us - we invited Melissa to join us for lunch and covered her meal, but she didn’t acknowledge it with a thank you. Not a huge deal, but something we noticed. Also, just a heads up for other travelers: be mindful when dining, as we had a situation where our server tried to tell us a tip wasn’t included, even though it clearly was listed (“propina”) on the bill. When questioned, he gave a different explanation, so it’s worth double-checking your receipt. Also… it was HOT. Like, hotter-than-heck hot 😂 Apparently there was a volcano erupting in Guatemala while we were there, which we were told contributed to the extreme heat across the region. Pretty wild experience, and despite the heat, the views around Roatán were absolutely beautiful and definitely made up for it. In the end, we’re giving 5 stars because we truly don’t want to negatively impact the company, and we did have a good time overall. But we hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests - especially in providing a more structured and informative tour for first-time visitors.

Beautiful time in Roatan
You can put the tour together yourself. Our driver did very well. The price-performance ratio is right. We had a lovely time in Roatan.

Excellent personal tour!
We really enjoyed the personal touch. We were met at the port by our guide (unfortunately, we did not get his name but he was the owners husband). He was very knowledgeable and informative and was willing to take us wherever we chose to go. We felt very comfortable with him and he was helpful taking pictures and showing us the highlights of the island. We would definitely recommend him!
Response from the operator: Hello, Miss Cindy Thank you very much for your feedback we are thrill to here that you enjoy your Day in Roatan with our staff, hope to serve again in the near future.
