    Best excursion I have done

Our tour guide, Yenni was extremely patient with us since this was our first time in Honduras. We had so many questions about their culture and she was able to answer everything. She took us to a local spot for lunch that had some amazing food. I didn’t think my kids were able to do the horseback riding, but the staff was very patient with my kids and we were all able to do it. It was so much fun. We then went to the sloth sanctuary and that by far was one of the best excursions I have ever done. The monkeys were super funny and were picking our pockets. The sanctuary had different animals that you could touch, which was a super cool experience. We ended the day at a beach, which had some of the cleanest beach water I have ever seen. I definitely recommend this tour if you are visiting on a cruise. PS bring lots of sunscreen because the heat there is something serious.

Horrid Experience from start to finish DONT TAKE Webster Tour DUTTON RANCH DISGUSTING not ocean waves dirty stream in wa

Where do I start? This was a hideous tour from the moment our guide met us at the gate - we had to treek down hill on crooked a walk with traffic blazing by for about 10 blocks. If you’ve ever been to Roatan, there are no level sidewalks. The previous year I was there with Roton tours, and we had the best horseback riding experience in the waves around the mango trees. We also got to go to our beach and he also parked right outside the Pierre gate. Anyways,Then we FINALLY get to his car and our guide John opens his car door and out blasts disgusting foul language, music. He shuts it off and apologizes. Now we head off to DUTTON Ranch to ride horses. But, They had no horses ready for us. We had to wait in the dusty sun and eventually, I asked the girl who kept making personal phone calls how long it would be. She said we had to ask our driver John. John informed us this was a ex-girlfriend and that’s the way she treated us. Of course John was nowhere around so I had to call out his name just to find him. He finally showed up and they managed to scrape up some horses for us. I was the last to get on my horse and my saddle is loose and shifted from right to left when I walked the 10 steps to the gate. I told Edgar our guide that I needed a new horse. I had to ask three times. Then I looked at him and said please “don’t leave without me”. He nodded. I went and got my horse a new saddle & they informed me it was the wrong size for my horse. (If I had continued on without fixing my saddle, I probably would’ve injured myself or fallen off. My hips were already sore from the long walk just to get to where he parked! Im 61 & this would probably be the last opportunity to ride horses with my family. As David and I, the guy that was now helping me - exited the gate… Edgar & my family WERE NO WHERE TO BE SEEN. He’d left me! No one was in sight no son no daughter no brother no sister-in-law. My family was gone. This was very upsetting to me…we proceeded on and still could not see them. I started to cry. David was kind. But when we finally caught up with Edgar he did nothing but try to justify Lea ing me. How upsetting. Even when we finally caught up with them at the waters edge; I thought surely EDGAR would wait for me to catch up to my family BUT NO he just kept going & offered MORE empty excuses - instead of apologizing for leaving me. He wanted to take my picture. One of the worst experiences of my life. I lost it. I was so upset. I’d cried. Id prayed. ALSO the riding path was nothing to look at. Lined w/ trash on both sides, and the water was NO waves or beach. It was like a still, scummy water and the horse like rub my left leg, almost crushing it against the rock; as he didn’t even wanna go into THAT water. Nothing like that experienced on my last horse riding trip, we actually wrote the horses through the waves and under palm tree beaches. Totally different experience. Now we left & went to the Sloths & monkeys. This was enjoyable. Then we got back in the car and we were headed to our beach break… All a while I’m asking John what beach is it gonna be like? Do you know the name of the hotel? Is it nice?He kept leading me on saying “Oh yeah, it’s gonna be a pretty beach”. Next thing I know he takes an abrupt left turn and a shortcut through a SCARRY residential area & I see the ships in the background. We’re NOT going to a beach. We’re heading straight BACK to the cruise port. He misled us. What a disappointing end into a horrible horse ride. On getting home I emailed Larry the owner and got no response. Zippo zero. I plan on disputing my visa. It would’ve been nice to get an apology sincerely, Cheryl Rodriguez I expect a full refund as the only part we enjoyed was the $10 slots and monkeys. But because the guy didn’t keep track of time, we didn’t even make it to a beach…so disappointing. No, I would not recommend Webster tours to any of my friends or family, ever.

Horrid EXPERIENCE from start to finish!!

Horrible just HORRIBLE. First we had to walk like 10 BLOCKS to where the guide parked his car. Very off the beaten path. Down crooked sidewalks and racing cars; very unsafe. My hips were killing me & I barely made it down the hills without tripping. Now exhausted we headed towards Dutton Ranch. What a slum & they didn’t have horses AVAILABLE. We had to wait out in the dust until I asked the girl whom was making multiple personal calls & ignoring us … had to YELL out for our guide John whom was no where to be found. He explained that was his c girlfriend & probably why she treated us that way. Then when the finally got us in horses; my Sattler was loose & shifting from side to side. We started leaving the gate & I had to ask 3x for another horse PLEASE…I looked straight at EDGAR our horse guide and asked him to please wait … upon getting my new horse saddle - we exited the gate - (we- me & another guide David; who was kind) ONLY to see my FAMILY WAS NO WHERE IN SIGHT. Edgar left without me!!! I was so hurt. We proceeded down the trail & still couldn’t see my family. I cried. I didn’t come to Honduras to ride a horse in this dirty old trailer park by myself… It came to spend time with my daughter and son my brother and his wife and we paid a combined $390 for this tour! Talk about disappointed - I was crushed & no body cared! After that horrific ride through a trash filled area to a little creek of water, my horse even rub my left leg up against the rocks because he didn’t even wanna get in the water, and it was by no means in the waves or any mangroves or anything else that we experienced earlier in the year with a totally different tour company and horse ride Which was awesome by the way… This was a huge disappointment as it will probably be the last time I will ever ride horses in Honduras with my or without my… Family. Then John took us to the slots and monkeys that was fine. We actually enjoyed it however I guess he lost track of time and he lied to us in the car saying oh we’re gonna go here we’re gonna go to the beach now and I kept asking him. What resort what hotel is it? Gonna be nice. Yes it’s gonna be a great beach. He said then all of a sudden he takes a shortcut rapidly driving through some dumpy neighborhood and I could see the cruise boats out in the distance. He took us straight BACK to the shipping pier. No Beach! What another disappointing part of this trip that was supposed to be memories for life. I wrote Larry the owner of the tour company an email and he never replied sincerely, Cheryl Rodriguez.

    Choose John for your Tour!

We had an absolutely AMAZING experience with Webster Tours in Roatán, Honduras! 🌴🐒🐴🌊 Our tour guide, John, was incredible from beginning to end. He was so pleasant, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond to make our day special. John took us horseback riding, to AJ’s Sloth & Monkey Park, and then to West Bay Beach — which was honestly one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen! 🏝️ The water was absolutely breathtaking and crystal clear. We even got to ride jet skis and spend time swimming in that gorgeous water, which made the day even more unforgettable. 🤿🌊 Everything was organized perfectly, and John made sure we felt comfortable, safe, and able to enjoy every part of the experience. His personality and knowledge really made the tour stand out. If you’re visiting Roatán, I highly recommend Webster Tours — and definitely ask for John! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you, John, for giving our family such an incredible day and memories we’ll never forget! ❤️🌴

    Really fun, my daughter...

Really fun, my daughter loves horses so this was for her. The horse back riding wasn’t super long and it was just a walk. Sloth and monkey sanctuary was really fun, could have stayed there longer

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
