Although we were...
Although we were originally promised a pickup at our hotel for our private tour, they wanted to switch it to a dock further away. They did change it back when I requested it. Instead of being picked up in a van as promised, we were picked up by a young person in his personal car. Us 4 adults barely fit with all our equipment. He drove us to a different dock which had no stairs or ladder to climb up onto it from land. Eventually we got on the dock and then the same problem - no ladder to the boat. Just a very long awkward step down with our equipment. The boat was very very small. Definitely the not as expected. The only good part were the captain and snorkel guide. They did a good job.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We truly appreciate all reviews and would like to clarify a few points. You were picked up at your hotel as agreed. We sent the correct vehicle to accommodate your group, and you were taken to West End, which is where the boat departs. You were staying in West Bay, and we offered to pick you up directly from your hotel dock. However, you preferred to be picked up by car instead. We respected your choice and arranged transportation exactly as you requested. Your tour was private, only for your group of four. The boat was assigned exclusively to you, and full service was provided as booked. We’re glad you mentioned our captain and snorkel guide, as they always work hard to provide a safe and enjoyable experience. We understand that not all docks may meet everyone’s personal expectations. However, the dock is properly set up for boats to safely pick up passengers without any problem. We are sorry if you felt uncomfortable, but all services included in your booking were fully provided. We appreciate your feedback and remain committed to giving the best possible experience to all our guests. Best regards, Sinthia Bodden Roatan Tucan Adventures

Highly Recommend both driver and tour guide
The only reason I did not rate this a 5 was because we weren’t able to see starfish or turtles BUT that is NOT the fault of the tour guide at all. I am normally good with names, but for some reason, I can’t remember his name now. However, the trip was awesome because he took us to the bluest waters that actually had fish in them and he got in and started to show us around a little bit on the reef and he let us take our time and go at the pace we wanted to instead of rushing us to get done. I truly truly enjoyed this snorkel experience more than any other others that I’ve done. Also please note that George Lopez (not the comedian) was our driver for the trip and if you come to Roatan please look him up! What a wonderful guy! His ride is super cool and he talked with us the whole time telling us about the island. I was truly impressed with his service and if we come back we will definitely use him!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! We’re truly glad to hear that you enjoyed your snorkeling adventure and that the beauty of Roatán made the trip memorable, even if the starfish and turtles didn’t show up that day. As you mentioned, wildlife sightings can vary, but we’re happy to know you still had an amazing time exploring the reef at your own pace. We’ll make sure to pass along your kind words to your guide and to George Lopez he will be very happy to hear how much you appreciated his service, island stories, and hospitality. Our team takes great pride in making every visitor feel welcomed and cared for. Thank you again for choosing Roatan Tucan Adventures, and we hope to have the pleasure of hosting you again on your next trip to the island! 🧡 best regards, Sinthia Bodden

Great Experience & Wonderful Guides!
We had an awesome time! All questions were quickly answered before, during, and after the trip. Eric and Jeremy were our guides and did a fantastic job! We were lucky and go to see starfish, a turtle, a baby shark, tons of fish, bright colored corals, and a baby shark. The 3 sites are amazing! Would absolutely recommend this experience.

Roatán 3 Stop Snorkel Starfish Blue Channel and Turtle Crossing: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Roatan.
How much does Roatán 3 Stop Snorkel Starfish Blue Channel and Turtle Crossing cost?
+
Prices start at $105 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Roatan usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Roatán 3 Stop Snorkel Starfish Blue Channel and Turtle Crossing take?
+
Plan for about 4.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Roatan is not rushed.
Is Roatán 3 Stop Snorkel Starfish Blue Channel and Turtle Crossing worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Roatan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Roatán 3 Stop Snorkel Starfish Blue Channel and Turtle Crossing?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Roatán 3 Stop Snorkel Starfish Blue Channel and Turtle Crossing suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Roatán 3 Stop Snorkel Starfish Blue Channel and Turtle Crossing?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Roatan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Roatan and add a light layer if any part of the 4.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Roatán 3 Stop Snorkel Starfish Blue Channel and Turtle Crossing start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Roatan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Roatan?
+
On Outty we rank every Roatan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Roatan Wildlife Monkeys,Sloths, chocolate Rum tasting Island Tour, Roatan Monkeys & Sloths + Chocolate & Rum Tasting + Beach Break, Customizable Best Of Roatan Island Tour in Honduras. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Roatan?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Roatan?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
