Just do it!
This tour package was perfect for a short excursion day! My husband and I didn't want to spend too many hours on excursions, so we chose this one. 4-5 hours of fun with ATVs, ziplines, and a swim in a cenote was a perfect mix! Julio, our tour guide, was very professional and knowledgeable. Since we booked last minute, we didn't prepare any water shoes. Even if you don't have water shoes, you can still participate in this tour, but it's best to bring some. Also, prepare a bandana and a waterproof cellphone pocket so that you can take photos in the cenote! And mosquito repellent is a must, as these activities take place in the middle of the jungle. Overall, we really enjoyed this experience and highly recommend it!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We’re thrilled to hear that the tour was the perfect fit for your schedule and that you enjoyed the combination of ATVs, ziplines, and the cenote. It really is a great way to experience the jungle in just a few hours! We’ll be sure to pass your kind words along to Julio. He’ll be delighted to know that his professionalism and knowledge helped make your day even more enjoyable. Thank you as well for sharing such helpful tips for future guests about water shoes, a waterproof phone pouch, a bandana, and mosquito repellent. We’re sure other travelers will appreciate your advice. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back for another adventure the next time you visit the Riviera Maya!

Some fun. Find a better experience.
The cenote was interesting and zip lines were fun. The 2 hour each way van ride on littered highways with dilapidated buildings was not fun but not the worst. The sketchy facilities with no towels and no bottled water was not expected. The ATVs were straight out of the Road Warriors movie. Some starting and others not. The "jungle" trip was driving the junk ATVs on the same potholed road that the van brought you in on. After the cenote tour you will be told that the tour guide does not get paid and will now accept your 500 peso minimum tip. I don't like disparaging businesses but I don't recommend this trip.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the cenote and zip lines, but we’re truly sorry that other parts of the experience did not meet your expectations. Your comments regarding transportation, facilities, equipment, and communication about tipping are very important to us and will be addressed with our team to ensure improvements are made. We always aim to provide a comfortable, transparent, and high-quality experience, and we regret that we fell short in your case. We appreciate your honesty and hope to have the opportunity to offer you a much better experience in the future

Great time
Great experience - you get to try 4 different zip lines, two centotes, and a decent amount of time on the ATVs. Lockers are included and they are big enough to store a big backpack.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for these words!! I will ensure all our crew will know they are doing an excellent job!! We hope to see you soon in another adventour!!

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Riviera Maya Jungle Half-Day Tour: ATV, Ziplines, Cenote Swim, Rappel: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tulum.
How much does Riviera Maya Jungle Half-Day Tour: ATV, Ziplines, Cenote Swim, Rappel cost?
+
Prices start at $89 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tulum usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Riviera Maya Jungle Half-Day Tour: ATV, Ziplines, Cenote Swim, Rappel take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tulum is not rushed.
Is Riviera Maya Jungle Half-Day Tour: ATV, Ziplines, Cenote Swim, Rappel worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 341 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tulum, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Riviera Maya Jungle Half-Day Tour: ATV, Ziplines, Cenote Swim, Rappel?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Riviera Maya Jungle Half-Day Tour: ATV, Ziplines, Cenote Swim, Rappel suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Riviera Maya Jungle Half-Day Tour: ATV, Ziplines, Cenote Swim, Rappel?
+
Around 119 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tulum can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tulum and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Riviera Maya Jungle Half-Day Tour: ATV, Ziplines, Cenote Swim, Rappel start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tulum within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tulum?
+
On Outty we rank every Tulum experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tulum Ruins, Turtles in Akumal and Cenote tour, Tulum Guided Tour, Magical Cenote, Lagoon Snorkeling and Beachside Lunch, Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid with Lunch and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tulum?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tulum?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
