A truly special evening with pasta, wine & tiramisu in Riomaggiore!

We had such a wonderful evening with Barbara & Stefano and couldn’t recommend this experience enough! ☺️ They were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. Barbara even helped us with the best bus connection and made sure we got home safely afterwards. Their beautiful home in the hills above Riomaggiore, overlooking the sea and sunset, is truly magical. You can immediately feel Barbara’s passion for authentic Italian cooking. She makes everything from scratch and has so much knowledge to share, guiding you through every step with lots of helpful tips and tricks. We learned how to make bruschetta, fresh pasta and tiramisu, before enjoying everything we made with delicious wine and a beautiful sunset. We never felt rushed, had lovely conversations, learned so much and their two adorable dogs were a bonus! 🐶 A delicious, authentic and very special experience. Definitely one of the highlights of our Cinque Terre trip! 🇮🇹🍝

Best Pasta Class in Cinque Terre

Giulia was absolutely phenomenal! She made the entire experience so fun and delicious! We made traditional ravioli with a spinach and ricotta filling, as well as tagliatelle tossed in homemade pesto (which Giulia provides the recipe for). Additionally, she treated us to fresh bread and an assortment of local toppings (tomatoes, ricotta, pesto, salami, etc.) as a premeal snack. The tiramisu was also the best we have ever had and Giulia made the entire process easy to understand and replicate. We felt incredibly welcomed and we're beyond impressed with the experience. We cannot recommend this enough!

    Riomaggiore: Pasta & Tiramisu Clss

Barbara and her husband were phenomenal hosts! They were very welcoming and also taught me and the other group I was with all the steps on how to make the perfect Tiramisu. For the pasta, we had the option of making it by hand or with a machine. We chose the machine, and the final result was delicious. The hosts opened their home to us and made it feel as though we were all old friends. Highly recommend!

    Excellent experience, fantastic chef

Giulia (our chef) and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. We were a family of 4 - with 6 and 7 year old little chefs - and Guilia was patient, welcoming, and great company. She communicated the meeting spot to find the apartment and had everything set/timed perfectly for an enjoyable cooking class and meal. It was delicious and fun!

Riomaggiore: Pasta & Tiramisu Class in a Local Home by Cesarine: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cinque Terre.

How much does Riomaggiore: Pasta & Tiramisu Class in a Local Home by Cesarine cost?

    +

Prices start at $188 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cinque Terre usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Riomaggiore: Pasta & Tiramisu Class in a Local Home by Cesarine take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cinque Terre is not rushed.

Is Riomaggiore: Pasta & Tiramisu Class in a Local Home by Cesarine worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 167 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Cinque Terre, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Riomaggiore: Pasta & Tiramisu Class in a Local Home by Cesarine?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Riomaggiore: Pasta & Tiramisu Class in a Local Home by Cesarine suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Riomaggiore: Pasta & Tiramisu Class in a Local Home by Cesarine?

    +

Around 58 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cinque Terre can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cinque Terre and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Riomaggiore: Pasta & Tiramisu Class in a Local Home by Cesarine start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cinque Terre within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cinque Terre?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cinque Terre experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cinque Terre and Pisa Tower Tour from Florence Semi Private, Cinque Terre Hybrid Boat Tour from Monterosso, From Florence: Cinque Terre & Pisa Day Trip. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cinque Terre?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cinque Terre?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
