What you'll see and do
Cinque Terre
We depart from Riomaggiore as the late afternoon light begins to soften, giving you a stunning first view of the village from the sea. From this angle, the colorful houses stacked along the cliffs feel even more dramatic, glowing in the warm light. As we head out along the coastline, you’ll immediately feel the shift away from the crowds and into a more peaceful, relaxed pace on the water.
Pass by without stopping
Manarola
We cruise along the famous Via dell’Amore, following the cliffs that connect Riomaggiore and Manarola, before arriving in front of Manarola itself. This is one of the most iconic views in all of the Cinque Terre — pastel buildings perched above the sea, surrounded by rugged coastline. From the boat, you’ll have time to take photos and truly appreciate the scale and beauty of the village in a way that simply isn’t possible from land.
15 minutes here
Corniglia
Continuing along the coast, we pass Corniglia — the only village not directly on the sea. Sitting high above the cliffs, it offers a completely different perspective of the Cinque Terre. As we cruise by, your skipper will share a bit of local history while you take in the quieter, more untouched side of the coastline.
10 minutes here
Vernazza
We slowly approach Vernazza and glide into the harbor, one of the most picturesque spots in the Cinque Terre. From the water, you’ll see the village open up in front of you — colorful buildings, small fishing boats, and restaurants perched along the cliffs. This is one of the best photo moments of the tour, with a view that most visitors never experience.
15 minutes here
Monterosso al Mare
As we continue toward Monterosso, the coastline opens up and the light begins to turn golden. This is the perfect moment to relax on board with prosecco and local focaccia while taking in the views. At the right time, we head offshore for a swim in calm, open water as the sun begins to set into the sea — a peaceful, unforgettable experience surrounded by soft light and the sound of the waves.
15 minutes here
Riomaggiore
We begin our return along the coastline as the sun dips lower and the villages start to glow in the evening light. The colors become deeper, the sea calmer, and the entire coastline feels more intimate and quiet. Arriving back in Riomaggiore just in time for dinner, you’ll see the village at its most magical — the perfect ending to your time on the water.

The highlight of our trip to Italy!
A must-do if you're coming to Cinque Terre. Seriously, we cannot recommend this boat tour more. It was absolutely magical! Yuri and the crew were fantastic, and the sunset almost didn't seem real. Prosecco was flowing, focaccia was delicious and we had a great time chatting with the other guests. Even stopped for a swim in Monterossa, which my partner thought he'd never do. I didn't want the tour to end. A major highlight of our time doesn't in Italy for sure. Book now, you won't regret it!

Our sunset boat tour was great! It was beautiful to see the villages from the water and hearing the guides information about them! The guide was fun and very helpful - he helped everyone on the boat make dinner reservations! :) I highly recommend this boat trip!

Beautiful sunset cruise
Perfect sunset cruise! Very romantic, with only 10 people on board, so even though it was a shared tour, it felt relaxed and intimate. Unlimited prosecco, stunning views, and Yuri was a fantastic host—friendly, easygoing, and a great local. Highly recommended! Grazie mille!

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Small Group Cinque Terre Sunset Boat Tour with Prosecco and Swim: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cinque Terre.
How much does Small Group Cinque Terre Sunset Boat Tour with Prosecco and Swim cost?
+
Prices start at $130 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cinque Terre usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Small Group Cinque Terre Sunset Boat Tour with Prosecco and Swim take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cinque Terre is not rushed.
Is Small Group Cinque Terre Sunset Boat Tour with Prosecco and Swim worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 32 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cinque Terre, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Small Group Cinque Terre Sunset Boat Tour with Prosecco and Swim?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Small Group Cinque Terre Sunset Boat Tour with Prosecco and Swim suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Small Group Cinque Terre Sunset Boat Tour with Prosecco and Swim?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cinque Terre can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cinque Terre and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Small Group Cinque Terre Sunset Boat Tour with Prosecco and Swim start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cinque Terre within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cinque Terre?
+
On Outty we rank every Cinque Terre experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cinque Terre and Pisa Tower Tour from Florence Semi Private, Cinque Terre Hybrid Boat Tour from Monterosso, From Florence: Cinque Terre & Pisa Day Trip. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cinque Terre?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cinque Terre?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
