What a beautiful place and a great guide!!

This place is amazing! Even though it was raining it was still that incredible blue color and well worth all the effort of going on a hike. We went on a private hike with our guide Karina and she was absolutely amazing. She knew so much about the area, kept a good pace for us, and was able to spot wildlife along the way including an eyelash viper.

Response from the operator: “Thank you so much for your review! We’re delighted you enjoyed the hike with Karina and got to see the incredible blue color and wildlife, even in the rain. Your kind words mean a lot to us!”

Nice experience of the rain forest

Very nice experience of the rain forest. Bring a rain coat and make sure all your belongings are water proofed as it will rain hard intermittently. The path is easy to walk and will probably accommodate a stroller. Only the last part, the descending to the waterfall (about 200 stairs) can be challenging. Don't expect to see animals as the large numbers of visitors and noise bothers them.

Response from the operator: Thanks for your comment and advice for our other visitors. Pura vida :)

    Fun Hike Activity

Our family of 4 took this tour during rainy season. It rained almost the whole time we were there. It was a nice hike, although I was worried about slipping sometimes. The hike does get muddy and there are stairs that are really, really steep. The waterfall is beautiful. How beautiful in color depends upon how much rain and sun there is the day before and the day of the hike. The color we saw was beautiful, but not as bright as other days, we were told. It was a nice activity for the whole family and we did see monkeys, spiders, and snakes.

Response from the operator: Hola Thank you so much for your review.! Pura Vida.
