Worth a visit
Got there at 8am thank god when we were leaving lots of coach loads of tourists were making their way up and I do mean lots, so arrive early

Beautiful, cheaper to book direct
It's cheaper (20 euros) to book direct, QR codes available close to the entrance for e tickets, however booking in advance means you have a definite time slot. Tips - make sure you download the pdf ticket otherwise you wont get in. Also don't join the main queue which is a queue for the ticket office not the entrance! Beautiful location and impressive acropolis, although it has been heavily restored, not sure how much is original. Definitely worth doing if in the area, assuming you are ok with uneven steps & no handrails.

Good idea but double check your date and time of visit.
It is a good idea to book ahead of your visit because there is a long queue at the ticket booth which you can simply pass by and head straight on to the ticket taker. This is the advice we were given by other reviewers on this website and it was good advice. However, tired travellers make bad decisions and in this case, I booked the wrong date. Neither the ticket taker would take my ticket (it was 24 April; the ticket said admission was for 26 April), nor would the ticket issuer allow me to change the date or receive a refund. This is very disappointing and I wonder why there is this policy in place. This leaves a sour taste in my mouth, if you get my meaning. Very very very disappointing. As the saying goes: caveat emptor. Oh -- and one last observation: since we ended up buying tickets at the booth, these tickets were 1.5 times LESS EXPENSIVE than the ones we purchased online through Trip Advisor.

Lindos Acropolis
Particularly beautiful if you go at sunset. Take a bottle of water and wear shoes with grip. Views get better as the temple ruins come in to view (hidden from the town).

A great evening out.
Phenomenal views, well worth the climb. Just wear good shoes as the rock can be very slippy. We took loads of beautiful photos. It was lovely to be immersed in history.

Why this scores 38
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Rhodes: Ancient Lindos Acropolis Admission Ticket: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rhodes.
How much does Rhodes: Ancient Lindos Acropolis Admission Ticket cost?
+
Prices start at $33 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rhodes usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Rhodes: Ancient Lindos Acropolis Admission Ticket take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rhodes is not rushed.
Is Rhodes: Ancient Lindos Acropolis Admission Ticket worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 38 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Rhodes, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Rhodes: Ancient Lindos Acropolis Admission Ticket?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Rhodes: Ancient Lindos Acropolis Admission Ticket suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Rhodes: Ancient Lindos Acropolis Admission Ticket?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rhodes can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rhodes and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Rhodes: Ancient Lindos Acropolis Admission Ticket start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rhodes within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rhodes?
+
On Outty we rank every Rhodes experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Makarounas Fishing Boat Trip with swimming stop and BBQ on board, Rhodes Exclusive Swim Cruise Cocktail Open bar & Gourmet Buffet, Athens cruise: Agistri, Moni/Metopi, Aegina with lunch & drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rhodes?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rhodes?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
