⭐️This is the way to Tour Alaska⭐️
Epic Alaska is amazing!! Cortney is so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The weather was rainy the morning of our tour, making it less than ideal for the hiking we had originally planned. Cortney had lots of wonderful suggestions for things to do! We began by checking out downtown Anchorage and stopping at some local shops for shopping and a Saturday market with fresh local vegetables and unique vendors selling varieties of homemade products I haven’t seen anywhere else! Then we headed South to Girdwood making photo stops along the way and getting lunch from a local restaurant with fresh seafood. As the day went on the weather cleared up and the flexibility of our tour allowed us to make whatever changes we needed, to do activities we wanted to experience. Cortney was prompt, the van was spacious and clean (snacks and bottled water provided!) and the conversation flowed easily and freely. There were lots of interesting things I learned about Alaskan history and the local culture. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality, customizable, flexible tour company. Thankfully Cortney had taken lots of photos and texted them all to our group so we had plenty of memories for the day!! :)

Wonderful Tour w/Courtney
We had such a wonderful time with Courtney on our tour through Downtown Anchorage! Even though we live here, we learned some amazing and fun facts about the area that we never knew before. Unfortunately, our tour was cut a bit short because my husband wasn't feeling well—but even with that, we still had an incredible experience! Courtney even brought us to one of the Saturday Markets, where we got to pick up some fresh, locally grown vegetables to take home. Such a thoughtful bonus! The van was super comfortable, making the ride even more enjoyable. Courtney is an outstanding guide—knowledgeable, fun, and full of fascinating information. We’re so glad we got to spend time with her. Highly recommend this tour to both locals and visitors alike!

Thank you Courtney! We had such a fantastic experience with Courtney, the owner of Epic Tours Alaska, that I had to leave a 5-star review. After disembarking from the Regent Seven Seas Explorer in Whittier, Courtney picked us up right at the cruise terminal and gave us an unforgettable full-day adventure before our evening flight out of Anchorage. We had the entire day to explore, and Courtney made every moment count. She’s an incredible guide—deeply knowledgeable, warm, engaging, and clearly passionate about showing guests the real Alaska. Her luxury Mercedes Sprinter van was super comfortable and perfect for a relaxing, private experience. One of the highlights was panning for gold (surprisingly fun!), and lunch at Basecamp Restaurant in Girdwood was outstanding. We ordered a sampler of nearly everything—clam chowder, grilled halibut, king crab, snow crab. The seafood was so fresh and delicious, I honestly ate more there than I did on the cruise! We saw bears, muskox, a moose, and even a spruce hen. Courtney shared fascinating insights about the tides, ocean silt, and the unique geography of the area, all while surrounded by breathtaking snow-capped mountains. She also took us to 10th & M Seafoods in Anchorage, where we bought fresh halibut and salmon. They packed it in dry ice so we could check it with our luggage—everything made it home perfectly. If you're flying out of Anchorage later in the day, I can’t think of a better way to spend the time.
