Incredibly local and non-touristy!!
Since we consider ourselves real explorers 😉 we took this one as we were curious what the city is hiding behind the offical touristy courtains. The guide was / is obviously "brutally 😀" passionate about his job which was felt during this entire experience. Very serious stuff was being discussed and explained, bloody good tour overall!

Vwry insider and local!!👍
We decided to book this tour based upon good reviews here + we wanted to see "behind the scenes / curtains / veil" and it paid off!!! Very informal and genuine experience soaked with a local spirit which will "open your eyes"! 😉 Recommend to like 15+ years of age travellers.
Response from the operator: Dear travelers. Thank you for your very kind review and we wish you all the best to your future travels. Sincerely Lukas Vraz, Customer relations manager - Spectrum Tours

All thumbs up for this!!
As we understood, this tour represents one of benchmarks of that company. And must be admitted that they do it very well! You will really see the city from a local perspective which we found very enriching and refreshing. All thumbs up for this!!

Riveting walking tour through Prague. Unique experience.
Best “tourist” city tour I have ever been on! Local guide directs you through the city of Prague. Winding cobbled streets, secret shopping malls. Comprehensive view of the history, culture and sights. Tour included using transit. This is a back door experience to Prague. Where the locals shop, meet, and many, many, many points of interest. You will be taken to areas you may not go on your own, and what activities you may encounter. Would definitely get in touch with Spectrum tours to arrange your own unique experience. Prague is a safe, friendly, and so much eye candy!!! The architecture is beyond WoW!!!
Response from the operator: Dear Maddamme. Thank you for your nice review. I also enjoyed the tour with you very much. Best regards Petr Maslo

Best “tourist” tour I have taken 10/10
I feel this is the best tour I have ever taken while travelling! Guide is local - so you get the inside scoop/back door experience. … not your usual “mainstream” tourist walkabout. A lot of the history of the city, and history of Czech was provided. The vibe, and Guides anecdotes of the neighbourhoods were really interesting. You will be taken on a bus and a tram - details of using those services are included in the tour. I like to support the “real” locals when I travel, so the information of which shops to visit was insightful. A few things to watch out for, etc. Glad I chose this tour. Contact Spectrum Tours for mor information. They are very patient.
Response from the operator: Dear Maddamme. Thank you for your nice review. I also enjoyed the tour with you very much. Best regards Petr Maslo

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Real Prague: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.
How much does Real Prague cost?
+
Prices start at $33 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Real Prague take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.
Is Real Prague worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Real Prague?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Real Prague suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Real Prague?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Real Prague start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Prague?
+
On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, 3-hour Complete Prague Bike Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Prague?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Prague?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
