Very immersive!
It was very interesting to sink to the depths of ancient religious history and hear stories about Czechs' struggle for religious freedom. Our guide Leos spoke even Latin and some ancient Greek which made the tour very professional. Relevant for interesees in sociology, history and science of religion.

Another Nice Way to See the City
If you are interested in religious history and the broader sweep of Prague’s cultural and political past, this tour is a wonderful way to experience the city’s beauty while learning a great deal. Peter was knowledgeable and an engaging guide—clear, organized, and generous with context that connected religion, culture, and power across the centuries in both Czechia and the region. We also appreciated that the tour continued even though it rained. So, rain or shine, we recommend the tour.

Religious History of Nation that has “seen it all”!
We likely expected too much from this tour. My wife and I are both lay pastors, have spent time on the mission field, taught on the subject of CHRISTIAN CHURCH HISTORY and my wife has a BA & MA in Biblical Studies. In addition, we have been to Israel on tours 10+ times. We were especially interested in the pre-reformation era history of Jan Huss who challenged the Catholic Church and was martyred 100-years before the reform movement launched by Martin Luther in 1517. The reality is that while the Czech Republic has a rich but checkered Christian History today those who have lived through the Communist era are not religious & our guide reflected that sentiment as reflected in these recent statistics: Religion in the Czech Republic (2021)[1] No religion (47.8%) Catholicism (9.3%) Other Christians (2.4%) Believers without religion (9.6%) Other religions (1.2%) Undeclared (30.1%) It was “interesting” to experience a “Religious Tour of Prague” from a guide that claimed to be an atheist… but was an accurate reflection of religion in CZ today. We went back to Bethlehem Chapel on our own where Jan Huss preached in Czech to the people of Prague from 1402-1413.

Besides, it belongs to a good tone and manners not to ask staff personal questions like i.e. religious orientation. In the tour description there is nowhere mentioned / promised visiting the Bethlehem chape.. We might be atheists but we are 100% fair, unlike some religious people (We have never triggered any religious war, crusade etc.).Our guides earn 4-5* reviews despite being atheists. ;-) Asking staff personal questions is 100% off limits and we believe that God would agree with us. ;-)

Amazing churches, very knowledgeable guide!!!
This was a very enriching tour during which we learnt lots of interesting facts about varied religions. Mostly I liked the Holy Spirit curch (Armenian apostolic church)!! Incredibly spiritual atmosphere there!! In the other churches as well. Very recommendable experience for those who are interested in religion and science of religion as the guide (Martin) turned out to be really a knowledgeable professional.

Outstanding experience, would gladly do it again
The best tour guide you could possibly have in Prague. He was polite, well-educated, flexible, and agreed to do our tour on very short notice. Such a great experience. Due to our requests, it became a church history tour. We visited several very old Catholic churches and cathedrals, several churches where Jan Hus used to preach, saw the Jewish quarter, etc. Just cannot thank the company and the tour enough. What a great day in Prague.
