Mediterranean travel
The local tour guide canceled without prior notification. We were stranded in Ravenna cruise port for hours attempting to make alternative transportation to Venice,which was 2 hours away. When I contacted Viator customer support, I was informed that the local tour company canceled because they attempted unsuccessfully to communicate with me so the tour was not scheduled. However, I have documented email that about one week prior to the tour, I requested an amended tour, which they did, from 4 passengers to 6 to accommodate our luggage. Additionally, payment was charged to my credit card on August 27th for the scheduled tour on August 30th. Therefore, they lied about an attempt to communicate with me for over one month. There was one email sent the night before that I missed due to internet access requesting confirmation of pick up time and I responded as soon as I was able. Yet, there was no further communication regarding cancelation until I called Viator after waiting outside in the sun for 2 hours. Never again will I take or recommend this tour

Private transfer from cruise ship to Venice hotel
Excellent experience! The driver arrived early and communicated that to us. He said we could start our trip earlier as a result which we did. He then took us right to our water taxi which then took us to our hotel. The whole journey was very seamless.
