    Fantastic experience!

We had a fantastic afternoon as a family with our 5-year-old son. Francesco was really very friendly, giving us new flavors to try the whole time while patiently and very excitingly explaining how his creations are made. We even made two flavors of ice cream: Sorbet and cream ice cream. We prepared the fruit, measured the ingredients, mixed them, and filled the ice cream machine, then transferred it and of course tasted it right away. A truly wonderful experience, suitable for children from four years old - our son was very proud! Today we even discovered Sbrino's ice cream in a restaurant!

Great fun with the best pistachio gelato ever!

We had a bit of a rocky start as Francesco was running late due to an issue at his shop, but within minutes he had us smiling and tasting some of his amazing gelato. We made a lemon sorbet and a vanilla cream gelato and both were incredible. Francesco was really chatty and keen to answer all of our questions while plying us with all his different gelato flavours….we over indulged completely but had lots of laughs with him and thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon. It was a great authentic Italian activity…especially if you’re a lover of gelato…& according to my husband the best Pistachio gelato he’s ever tasted. Thank you Francesco!

    +

That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ravenna, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

How far in advance should I book Ravenna Artisan Gelato Making Class in a Local Gelateria?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ravenna can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ravenna and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Ravenna?

    +

On Outty we rank every Ravenna experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Tour of Mosaic Tiles in Ravenna, Ravenna: Mosaics and Highlights Guided Tour with Admission Ticket, Private Tour in Siena, San Gimignano and Chianti Day Trip from Florence. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Ravenna?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Ravenna?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
