Ok, but nothing amazing.
Was a nice break away from the hotel, but although I chose a small tour, we all ended up at the sights as the same time as the big tour buses. Also, about 50% of those going didn't want to snorkel, but we spent a lot of time at the choral reef, and very little time at the magic lake. Swimming was not really possible at the reef, and given the magic lake was 10 mins up the road, it would have been easy to drop those who weren't snorkelling there so they could swim and sunbathe away from the crowds. Tour guide was friendly, and willing to answer any questions, but didn't give any commentary on the bus. Happy to have done it, but not really a "must do" excursion
Response from the operator: First of all we would like to thank you for your feedback. For your knowledge our response here is not at all for you but to clarify some facts to who may see what you’ve mentioned above here. Do you realize what are you talking about here above? Did you get enough information about what is the National Park of Ras Mohammed? If not why you chose this trip to do? So you drove this long distance from your hotel only to do swimming there and not to do snorkeling!! Why have not you done this at your hotel or from any other beach near your hotel? Even why you didn’t ask for a private tour to take your time to swim wherever you would like to swim? Did you realize your booking was within a group? And the main part of the tour is doing snorkeling in one of best spots in all over the world. Here is our surprise. Even after getting back to the other people you talked about here above they said yes they loved the magic lake but they were interested more in doing snorkeling than staying in the magic lake and the experience was amazing! So you need to blame yourself and not our organization. We know sometimes we need to avoid this kind of people who want to force their own plans on rest of the participants and change the schedule of the already planned tours. But this is still hard for us to do. RAS MOHAMMED IS NOT AMAZING!!!! This is the strangest phrase we've ever heard in our career life!!

Above and beyond......
Found Egypt Joy Travel by chance on the net, last minute, and lucky we did. Our two trips with them (Ras Mohamed and private trip to Saint Catherine) were both excellent. Perfectly adapted to our family of five with kids aged 11 and 7. The trips were planned very well, with fantastic and timely support and information provided by colleagues via WhatsApp throughout. Thanks to the whole team...for giving us a very memorable ending to our stay in Sharm!!

Ras Mohamed National Park Half Day Bus Trip From Sharm El Sheikh: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sharm el Sheikh.
How much does Ras Mohamed National Park Half Day Bus Trip From Sharm El Sheikh cost?
+
Prices start at $25 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sharm el Sheikh usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Ras Mohamed National Park Half Day Bus Trip From Sharm El Sheikh take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sharm el Sheikh is not rushed.
Is Ras Mohamed National Park Half Day Bus Trip From Sharm El Sheikh worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sharm el Sheikh, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Ras Mohamed National Park Half Day Bus Trip From Sharm El Sheikh?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Ras Mohamed National Park Half Day Bus Trip From Sharm El Sheikh suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Ras Mohamed National Park Half Day Bus Trip From Sharm El Sheikh?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sharm el Sheikh can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sharm el Sheikh and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Ras Mohamed National Park Half Day Bus Trip From Sharm El Sheikh start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sharm el Sheikh within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sharm el Sheikh?
+
On Outty we rank every Sharm el Sheikh experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sharm El Sheikh: Ras Mohammed Snorkeling, Allah Gate & Top Sights, ATV Quad Bike & Camel Ride, Echo Mountain – Sharm El Sheikh, Sharm : Cairo Excursion by Flight, Pyramid GEM or Ancient Museum. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sharm el Sheikh?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sharm el Sheikh?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
