Great value fun tour to Ras Mo for a morning
Great way to visit Ras Mo - I've also done the boat trip, as well as solo rented car trip as I'm very into snorkelling. I hated the boat trip as expensive, lots of wasted time waiting for scuba divers and very limited opportunity to snorkel. Also white sands is total waste of time. Renting a car was best for me obviously but cost a lot. This bus tour is a cos effective, convenient and fun way to get an appreciation of the park and its marine life - for more serious snorkelling I would advise renting a car and doing yourself though.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback ❤️

Great whistle stop tour, but bring cash
Initial impressions were not good, we were given the pick up time of 8:45, but the bus didn’t arrive until 9:20. We then went to our first stop which was to rent equipment, snorkels etc, if you didn’t have these. We booked this tour as we had these already, and didn’t want to pay to rent. What was not advised in advance, is that you must wear a buoyancy aid, and if you don’t have one you need to rent this from the shop - they only take cash (eur or dollars I believe), so if you don’t have this you’re a bit stuck (we’re English and don’t have either currency) and didn’t bring any money or card with us, as we believed we booked a tour that required no add ons. The end result was we needed to essentially borrow off the guides, and pay them when we were dropped off. Once we got the national park, everything was much smoother! First stop snorkelling was fantastic (again there are some Egyptian natural remedies for sale here, but you need cash). The gate of allah, mangroves, earthquake crack were all really cool to see, and we got to see a manta ray! The guide was great at volunteering information about the local history. Particular highlight was the magic lake, it’s absolutely beautiful and I only wish I got more images as it had a fantastic backdrop! Would almost come back to sharm just for the magic lake and snorkelling! We could then purchase photos from all the stops from the photographer for 30€ (again we needed cash). All photos were great, and a good value for the quantity. Would definitely recommend purchasing these! Overall, we would definitely recommend but would advise bringing cash!
Response from the operator: Thank you for the feedback

Ras Mohamed by Bus from Sharm elsheikh: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sharm el Sheikh.
How much does Ras Mohamed by Bus from Sharm elsheikh cost?
+
Prices start at $2 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sharm el Sheikh usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Ras Mohamed by Bus from Sharm elsheikh take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sharm el Sheikh is not rushed.
Is Ras Mohamed by Bus from Sharm elsheikh worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 40 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sharm el Sheikh, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Ras Mohamed by Bus from Sharm elsheikh?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Ras Mohamed by Bus from Sharm elsheikh suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Ras Mohamed by Bus from Sharm elsheikh?
+
Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sharm el Sheikh can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sharm el Sheikh and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Ras Mohamed by Bus from Sharm elsheikh start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sharm el Sheikh within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sharm el Sheikh?
+
On Outty we rank every Sharm el Sheikh experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sharm El Sheikh: Ras Mohammed Snorkeling, Allah Gate & Top Sights, ATV Quad Bike & Camel Ride, Echo Mountain – Sharm El Sheikh, Sharm : Cairo Excursion by Flight, Pyramid GEM or Ancient Museum. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sharm el Sheikh?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sharm el Sheikh?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
