    Beautiful Quebec City

I chose this photography tour to maybe catch something new in Quebec City. What I got was many many tourists but an opportunity to see a different perspective of the areas around Quebec City where everyone is. Francois gave me challenges at each of the locations. Where I had to take the normal tourist shot and make it a little bit more unique. I really appreciated the opportunity. He shot his pictures and we compared and then I reshot with a little bit different of an eye. I also lucked out with good weather. Great afternoon!

    Fun time learning travel photography

There were two of us on our photo tour so we had a lot of individual attention. Our guide began near Chateau Frontenac and gave us an ‘assignment’ to take a photo containing two structures. Then he critiqued it and offered suggestions on how to improve it. He taught us techniques that helped us compose better photos and how to highlight different structures in the photo. We both use iPhones and he assured us that was perfectly fine and made suggestions on how to better use it. We continued to walk to nearby locations taking photos and receiving instructions for improvement. He was an excellent teacher and had a great time.

    Great!!

Very good advice and beautiful photos! The guide took the time to look at our photos and give tips to improve them! I recommend!

Response from the operator: Un gros merci, c'était un super circuit à vos côtés! Très agréable même dans le froid!

    Highly recommend!

Our photographer was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable! Our group only used our phones, but he was very accommodating and still provided useful tips and information for taking pictures. The pace of the walk was perfect and we were able to see plenty of great sights. Highly recommend this for casual people as well as experienced photographers

Response from the operator: Thanks, it was a real pleasure to do this tour with both of you! :)

Pro Snapshot View of Quebec City

Quebec City is the perfect location for a photo tour with a professional photographer. It is picturesque with its blend of modern and european charm. Before we started, my pro explained the basics of photography. Then for the next two hours, beginning at Place d'Armes and ending at Place des Canotiers, including Old Quebec, we both took shots, experimented and compared photos . Those were the best two hours of my trip. I now have professional grade photos of Quebec City. Thank you François.

Quebec City Photo Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Quebec City.

How much does Quebec City Photo Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $102 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Quebec City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Quebec City Photo Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Quebec City is not rushed.

Is Quebec City Photo Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Quebec City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Quebec City Photo Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Quebec City Photo Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Quebec City Photo Tour?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Quebec City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Quebec City and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Quebec City Photo Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Quebec City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Quebec City?

    +

On Outty we rank every Quebec City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Old Quebec Classique Walking Tour with Funicular, Uncover Old Quebec: Fun Walking Tour with a guide-Gratuity based, Quebec City Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Quebec City?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Quebec City?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Quebec City Photo Tour?

    +

Included: Professional Photographer. Not included: Camera; and Pick up and drop off at the hotel. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Where is the meeting point for Quebec City Photo Tour?

    +

We will met in front of the funicular entrance (at the top), close to the Samuel De Champlain statue and to the Chateau Frontenac. Hotel pickup is not included, so plan your own transport and arrive 15 minutes early.

What languages is Quebec City Photo Tour offered in?

    +

It is offered in English and French. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Quebec City Photo Tour?

    +
