A Fun-Filled Quad Ride Through the Sands

The one-hour quad tour seemed like a long time. The guide explained everything well in English and also took care of safety. The thrill of continuing the quad over the sand is truly amazing. He has taken it everywhere from small mounds to big downs. This experience should not be missed when visiting the desert of Morocco.

Highlight of Our Trip

A ride on a QUAD BIKE is a THRILLING experience! The guide first trained and taught them to ride safely, then the adrenaline peaked to climb the big dunes. The bikes were in good condition and the guide was always on hand to help. The sight of the vastness of the desert and the light of the sunset was breath-taking. It will be more fun with family or friends. All was clean, neat and tidy. If you want a little adventure in the Sahara, this tour is highly recommended!

One Hour of Pure Fun in Erg Chebbi

Choosing this tour to go quad riding in the Erg Chebbi Desert of Merzouga is the right decision. The 1 hour tour seemed like a lot less time, because time flew by in the fun. The guide was very friendly and professional - explained everything in English and accompanied the whole time. At first I was a little scared, but then I got the hang of it. Running on the sand dunes and in the light of the sunset the landscape of the desert is amazing. A perfect place to take pictures. All at a good price and on time. Those who want an adventure in the Sahara, be sure to try! 🏜️

Then I cried out in joy as I ran through the vast sand dunes. The control of the quad bike was very easy and the guide was always there to help. The view of the surrounding desert was amazing. It will be fun to travel with family or friends. A clean and safe experience.

Racing the Golden Dunes of Erg Chebbi

An incredible experience! Quad riding in the Erg Chebbi dunes of Merzouga was the best part of our trip to Morocco. Our guide was very professional - he provided clear training at the beginning to teach the safe way to ride a quad bike. Once I started running, it was pure adrenaline rush! It was very nice to climb up and down the golden sand dunes. The view of the vast desert was breathtaking. Everything was well organized, the bike was in excellent condition, and the guide made sure we were safe and had the most fun... Highly recommended for anyone seeking an adventure in the Sahara):

Quad Riding in Sand Dunes Merzouga Erg Chebbi Desert: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Merzouga.

How much does Quad Riding in Sand Dunes Merzouga Erg Chebbi Desert cost?

+

Prices start at $25 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Merzouga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Quad Riding in Sand Dunes Merzouga Erg Chebbi Desert take?

+

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Merzouga is not rushed.

Is Quad Riding in Sand Dunes Merzouga Erg Chebbi Desert worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Merzouga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Quad Riding in Sand Dunes Merzouga Erg Chebbi Desert?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Quad Riding in Sand Dunes Merzouga Erg Chebbi Desert suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 1-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Quad Riding in Sand Dunes Merzouga Erg Chebbi Desert?

+

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Merzouga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Merzouga and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Quad Riding in Sand Dunes Merzouga Erg Chebbi Desert start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Merzouga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Merzouga?

+

On Outty we rank every Merzouga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Merzouga: 2-Nights In Luxury Camp with Camel Trek & Dinner., Camel Trekking & 1 Night in Merzouga Desert Camp, Merzouga Desert – Camel Ride & Overnight in the Camp. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Merzouga?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Merzouga?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
