About this experience
Discover the beauty and adventure of the Agafay desert from the comfort of a quad bike. Agafay is known as the Sahara of Marrakech as it is less than an hour from the city but offers an incredible variety of desert features including rocky terrain, sand dunes, Berber villages with mud walls, palm groves and much more. As a desert native myself, I think there's no better way to see this variety than on a mountain bike, which allows you to cover a significant amount of ground quickly, while staying close to the nature. This experience begins when I pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech. We will drive to Agafay in a luxury tour van, reaching our destination in less than an hour. After a short training session, you will leave with a guided tour lasting approximately 2 hours.

Perfect in every way. Excellent organizers
These are serious professionals listening to you. Close to Jemma Al Fna Square, behind the Café de France, shop on the street: At very competitive prices will offer you original excursions according to your tastes and expectations. We opted with friends for the Agafay desert (private car for 5 € more...) Camel ride (or quad, according to your choice), Extraordinary sunset over the Berber desert at the foot of the Atlas, singing and traditional dances around a wood fire, delicious dinner under the very hearty tent... before returning to Marrakech (about 35 minutes). We recommend this agency and their advice.

Breathtaking excursions
A place that was recommended to us by a restaurant located next door. Rachid thank you for allowing us to have an incredible experience during our family quad bike trip in the desert of agafay. We had a great guide ( thank you Mohamed) . He really made us discover the desert, then accompanied us to drink tea in a Berber village. An exceptional moment of sharing with the locals while music and dance. Thank you for sharing the quad bike for the girls an exceptional generosity. So delighted with this tour that we booked another 2 days later. Head this time the quad in the palm grove at sunset ..... fantastic Thank you for making us live exceptional moments with family in your beautiful country. It's on....we'll be back. 🥰
Response from the operator: Merci beaucoup j'espère avoir l'eau une autre fois ici merci

Just unmissable!!!!
We found the place by chance, hearing that they spoke perfect Spanish when commenting on the excursion. We hire the departure to the desert of Agafay 16hs, with camel ride, show and dinner, and return at 22hs. I COMPLETELY EXCEED OUR EXPECTATIONS. I was wary of reading some of the experiences here, but obviously it depends on the excursion you take. They're just managing it. The departure was punctual, we were a small group and we were taken by taxi. After 45 min of route, we took to the camp where they were waiting for us with tea and typical cookies. KEEP AN EYE OUT for the Saharan desert. It's desert closer to the city, not sand. Everything very clean, and new! Amazing Mood, Music, very attentive boys and speaking Spanish. We did the 40 minute camel ride (which were very careful). We came back and they waited for us with typical music, plus tea, that served you nonstop. After singing for a while and telling stories we walked 10 minutes to see the sunset, an unbeatable view. They told us about the Berber peoples and local customs. When we returned to camp, we were waiting with the music and dance show, by the campfire. Finally, the dinner "buffet" with drink included, delicious and could be served as many times as you want. A LUXURY!!!!! YOU CAN'T STOP LIVING THIS EXPERIENCE! I never felt so well taken care of and I will definitely recommend everyone to do so. Thank you and thank you.

I'd repeat again for sure
Super, I was a little hesitant and finally decided on the security I was given, when we get to the place you get a closed circuit tour to practice. The attention of 10, the great guide very friendly and attentive. In the middle of the excursion you stop in an area full of jaimas and drink tea and pastas, the very nice place. We are very happy and if we return to Marrakech we will surely book some excursions again. I recommend it 100% Thank you so much for everything

The boy who has taken us with the quad bikes very nice and very fun, watching us at all times and then the sunset and dinner a wonder. I recommend 100. We traveled four friends.

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Quad Ride In The Agafay Desert In Marrakech: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does Quad Ride In The Agafay Desert In Marrakech cost?
+
Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Quad Ride In The Agafay Desert In Marrakech take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is Quad Ride In The Agafay Desert In Marrakech worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Quad Ride In The Agafay Desert In Marrakech?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Quad Ride In The Agafay Desert In Marrakech suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Quad Ride In The Agafay Desert In Marrakech?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Quad Ride In The Agafay Desert In Marrakech start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, 3 Days Desert Tour From Marrakech To Merzouga Dunes & Camel Trek, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
