terrible buggies
They sell it to you on Instagram reels as if it were an incredible experience, but nothing could be further from the truth. To start, you leave in a group of 20 or 30 vehicles at once with only two guides. What does that mean? That you are stopping every two seconds to wait and prevent someone from getting lost. During the route, you encounter hundreds of buggies from other companies because, basically, they all do exactly the same route. You go in a caravan, like sheep, without being able to really enjoy driving the buggy. At the coffee plantation stop, they explain a few things and the rest is focused on trying to sell you products. At the next stop, the cenote, there was an absolute ton of people; just getting in was crazy and, more of the same: trying to sell you everything. At the beach, it was more of the same. The excursion is supposedly from 12:00 to 15:00. If we actually drove the buggy for 40 minutes out of all that time, that's a lot. You spend the rest of the time stopped, waiting in line, or moving in a caravan. And if you think you're going to enjoy driving the buggy like it appears in the reels, forget about it. You spend practically the entire route idling behind other vehicles. The experience they show on Instagram has absolutely nothing to do with the reality we experienced. Personally, I do not recommend this company at all. A total disappointment.

We had an excellent experience with our driver and tour guide, Julian! He was right on time, very professional, friendly, and polite from start to finish. He made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the ride to the buggy excursion. His driving was careful, and he made sure we arrived without any issues. We truly appreciated his kindness and outstanding service. I highly recommend Julian to anyone visiting Punta Cana.
