Pula
Situated near the base of the Istrian peninsula, Pula is the largest city in Istria. Its most famous attraction, the well preserved Roman amphitheatre, is one of the most famous sights in the whole of Croatia. Pula, like the rest of the region, it is known for its mild climate, smooth sea, beautiful beaches, and unspoiled nature. The city has a long tradition of wine making, fishing, shipbuilding, and tourism. It has also been Istria’s administrative centre since ancient Roman times. During our tour you will come across numerous monuments of Roman architecture: the Triumphal Arch of the Sergi from the 1st century B.C., Hercules’ Gate and Twin Gates, the Temple of Augustus, Arena and Small Roman Theatre in the town centre. Historical attractions aside, Pula is a busy commercial city on the sea that has managed to retain a friendly small-town appeal. Although marred with residential and holiday developments, the coast is dotted with fragrant pine groves, seaside cafes and a clutch of good restaurants. A unique experience will be moments of relaxation in the main town square, which has managed to retain its role as the meeting place since the Augustan Age.

Rovinj
Situated on the west coast of Istria, Rovinj is one of the most popular and most developed tourist resorts in Croatia. The old town is built on the island, which was only connected with the mainland in the 18th century. Known as one of the most picturesque and romantic towns on Mediterranean, over the last few decades Rovinj attracts a large number of tourists, most of them faithfully returning year after year. Why do they come back? Maybe it is the breath of past times felt as you walk around old town’s cobbled narrow streets. Or is it maybe its 22 islands and islets, the mild Mediterranean climate, carefully designed parks, the tidiness of its streets, the friendliness of the local population or numerous and varied town events. Or all of it! Rovinj manages to combine, in a very interesting way, its rich tradition with the modern times. As it is also an active fishing port, you can experience the atmosphere of a small fishing village. On the other hand, the town has been developing an exquisite gastronomy and offers a high standard of tourist services in general. The city at the foot of the Church of St. Euphemia is the favorite gathering place of artists from around the world. Walking down its streets, you’ll bump into many art galleries and studios. It is almost impossible to list all Rovinj’s attractions, so we suggest visiting it and surrendering to its beauty… We are sure that it will win you over and that sooner or later, you’ll come to visit Rovinj again.

A fantastic trip
We were in Rijeka with our cruise and decided to book this tour. We visited Pula with its ancient arena and wandered through the charming streets of Rovinj. The views of the coastline were stunning and we enjoyed every moment of it.

Too much driving and very rushed
I gave this a one star because of the disorganization this company had. When we arrived, we were sent to a van. We were told we had an hour drive to our first stop not a problem usually in most of our tours we had someone telling us about the country we were visiting. Not a word was spoken we get there we get out they have no idea where they’re going or what they’re doing, nothing is said to where we should walk or about what we were walking to. We finally get to our destination after walking quite a bit we’re told we’re going to get a tour and all he did was walk us around and then said you have 20 minutes and will meet you in the van. Drove us to our next stop still have no idea where we were going or what it was about we get out again here nothing about where we are or what it is about. Still unsure of what they are to. Do they make calls back to the owner, then lead us to our next stop briefly and I mean briefly tell us a little bit of what we were looking at almost as though they didn’t really know much about it. Same goes for the final stop. This was our most expensive tour and it was probably our worst tour.
Response from the operator: Dear Shauna, Please kindly note that your cruise ship arrived by tender and it would have been helpful if you had informed us in advance about the tendering situation so that we could have made appropriate arrangements to accommodate your needs. Since your cruise was tendering that means that we started with the tour at a later time and needed to be back earlier. Our guides made every effort to ensure that you were able to see as much as possible within the time constraints. They worked diligently to provide you with a comprehensive tour experience ensuring that you got the most out of your tour despite the limited duration. Regarding the issue of long driving times, we would like to clarify that all the details about the tour were presented to you in advance. It is essential for our guests to be aware of the tour itinerary and its associated travel times to manage their expectations accordingly. We strive to provide transparent and accurate information to all our customers to ensure a satisfactory experience. We are saddened to hear that you feel this way about our tour, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please understand that it was not our intention to disappoint you. We assure you that we did everything in our power based on the limitations we faced.
