About this experience
This 5 hour private tour will give you a nice view of the main spots which make the celebrity of the Provence region. You will visit many typical villages as Saint Paul de Vence, Tourettes sur Loup, Gourdon and the perfume city of Grasse. Drive through the Gorges du Loup (Loup Canyon) where the river starting in the alpine foothills had carved huge gorges out of the living rock producing one of the most beautiful natural curiosities in the Provence region. Feel the charm of former Provence villages and discover their medieval architecture and art in Tourrettes sur Loup or Saint Paul de Vence. Try Lavender or violette ice cream in Gourdon and enjoy the view from about 2000 feet above sea level. Built on top of a rocky spur, this eagle's nest of a feudal village occupies a remarkable site overlooking the Gorges du Loup. Dive into the World's capital of perfumes, smell the fragrances and try to be a "nose". Finish your tour at your point of departure.

Highlight of our trip to France
This review is long overdue. But when a friend asked me what they should do while in France I had to recommend this day trip with Yvonne. Yvonne tailor made our day so that my husband and I were able to see the things most important to us. Her knowledge of the area is truly wonderful. We were able to visit little villages, talk to the shop owners, taste incredible food and see sights we would not have explored on our own. Of course her Mercedes was very clean and comfortable. Yvonne is a warm and friendly host. The day spent with her as our guide was the highlight of our trip to France.
Response from the operator: Thanks it is very kind to you. Hope to see you soon next time on the French Riviera Warm greetings from Nice Yvonne

Great tour with Great guide
At the first mail we sent to Yvonne she was incredible. We planned a customized itinerary for my whole family and she helped us a lot with a few suggestions to improve the tour. She kept in touch all the time and she was very flexible and helpful with us. She was a joy to be with for the day. We saw so much more than we could have done alone and her black Mercedes van was impeccable. Thanks again Yvonne for your smile and the quality of your job. Of course highly recommended

We booked two half-day tours with...

We booked two half-day tours with Viator out of Nice. We had 6 in our party so the tours were private. Our guide was Yvonne for both tours and she was delightful. Her knowledge of the areas we visited and friendly personality made the experience information and comfortable. She allowed us to spend time where we wanted but guided us along the way. Our first day was to Antibes and Cannes and the second day was to Grasse, Gourdon, and St. Paul de Vence. We thought it was a great value for a private tour in a comfortable vehicle with a good guide and would use Viator again.

Provence 1/2 day Tour : Saint Paul de Vence, Gourdon, Grasse: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nice.
How much does Provence 1/2 day Tour : Saint Paul de Vence, Gourdon, Grasse cost?
+
Prices start at $887 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Provence 1/2 day Tour : Saint Paul de Vence, Gourdon, Grasse take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nice is not rushed.
Is Provence 1/2 day Tour : Saint Paul de Vence, Gourdon, Grasse worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Nice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Provence 1/2 day Tour : Saint Paul de Vence, Gourdon, Grasse?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Provence 1/2 day Tour : Saint Paul de Vence, Gourdon, Grasse suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Provence 1/2 day Tour : Saint Paul de Vence, Gourdon, Grasse?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nice and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Provence 1/2 day Tour : Saint Paul de Vence, Gourdon, Grasse start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nice?
+
On Outty we rank every Nice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include ★ Walking Tour of Old Nice and Castle Hill, NO DIET CLUB - Unique Local Food in Nice !, Nice City Segway Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nice?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nice?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
