Sport climbing course with children
A perfect course to go from the climbing wall to the rock. Agile, practical and fun. My 10 and 11 year old sons and I did it and we learned a lot and had a great time. Totally recommended.

The activity never happened and money never been returned
We booked the activity 7th of January at 10am , the night before the instructor name Fernando messaged me to cancel the activity and pay next day end of the activity as he said the activity that week had 8% discount and on the APP Viator wasn’t available to get the discount. Fernando cancelled the activity and he asked me to approve from my email , which at the moment was fine from my side to do. Same night we had a phone call where he mentioned that we’ll change the time of the activity from 10:00 to 13pm as he’s in a party that night ( family celebration ) and I tried to respect that as 6th of January is the celebration of the Three King's Day . Surprise , surprise!! Next day at 9:37am Fernando texted me that he can’t make the appointment for family reasons . Extremely disappointed me and my partner! We did pay 320€ and money has not been paid back yet however the application says 24 hours in advance but we did cancel 14 hours before even Fernando mentioned that it’s guaranteed to receive the money back. We are tourists , definitely ours days were planned and booked accordingly each single day . We did waste one day , being non productive as we couldn’t book anything that we liked ( last minute everything it’s booked ) . I know that day 7th of January we supposed to be 5 people to do the activity and if someone read this review please let me know if you did received your money back . Extremely disappointed and I don’t know how trusted can be an application.
Response from the operator: First of all, I apologize for my part, which is that for reasons of force majeure the activity was cancelled, I still tried to be able to let them out, even though I informed Viator that reservations must be made 72 hours in advance. . From the beginning I have been attentive to you and in resolving the return of the payment, said payment was never made by Viator, so your money was safe. Viator has never given me any problems of any kind, so I don't understand how it is possible that you don't have your money, they have trusted me that the payment was not collected and I have no reason to doubt. Finally, I would like to tell you that as stated by law, it is illegal to use screenshots of private conversations without the consent of one of the parties and I have not given consent to make public a conversation that violates my dignity. Without further ado, wish you the best and thank you.

We really enjoyed this...
We really enjoyed this climbing day with Fernando. He is very experienced and took us to a great climbing side. He was suggesting routes that were perfect for our level and experience. We had a bit of experience indoor climbing, no outdoor, but I am sure this trip will be suitable to any level as he really gives a personalised touch to it. He also made very nice videos of us climbing which he sent the day after. Definitely recommend!
Response from the operator: It was a pleasure to be able to guide you and see how you enjoyed your experience. Thanks a lot.

Spectacular climb!
That day we were so lucky that there were only 2 of us and the instructor - Fernando (Ferni). He picked us up from the area we agreed to and showed us around before taking us to the climbing area. He was a very hospitable, cheerful, experienced guy. On site when we arrived he gave us a full introduction and was very attentive. We challenged ourselves to climb a few different rocks, had breaks between each rock climb and spent a good 5-6 hours there. Everything was spot on and at good pace and we all had a great time! If you are looking for an experienced, fun, adventurous climb, contact Fernardo he is the right person! Ferni we miss you and be sure to visit us in Scotland during the summer.
Response from the operator: It was a pleasure to be able to guide you and see how you enjoyed your experience. I hope to see you again. Thanks a lot.

Carlos and Alex
My experience with Carlos de Climbo: For two days I had tried in vain to do a tandem paragliding flight near Las Palmas. Just got misinformation. Carlos does not offer this activity either, but he searched for me until it worked! What a Service! So Parapente en tandem is offered by: Alejandro (expert since 1985, by his own account), near Los Giles with fantastic views of all of Las Palmas, Ascendencia Parapete Gran Canaria, phone +34 661 81 55 67

Why this scores 52
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Professional climbing guide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Gran Canaria.
How much does Professional climbing guide cost?
+
Prices start at $183 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Gran Canaria usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Professional climbing guide take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Gran Canaria is not rushed.
Is Professional climbing guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Gran Canaria, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Professional climbing guide?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Professional climbing guide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Professional climbing guide?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Gran Canaria can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Gran Canaria and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Professional climbing guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Gran Canaria within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Gran Canaria?
+
On Outty we rank every Gran Canaria experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Puerto de Mogán: Coastal Cruise with Optional Snorkeling & Lunch, Guided tour of the Banana World, Gran Canaria Red Canyon: Small Group Tour & Local Food ツ. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Gran Canaria?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Gran Canaria?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Professional climbing guide?
+
Included: Ropes, harness, helmet and climbing shoes. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Where is the meeting point for Professional climbing guide?
+
GC-60 Start Hotel pickup is not included, so plan your own transport and arrive 15 minutes early.
What languages is Professional climbing guide offered in?
+
It is offered in English and Spanish. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.

+
The operator notes: Not recommended for pregnant travelers. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.
