Flawless day in Yellowstone with Still Wild!

Yellowstone It's one of the country's most exquisite national parks. Again, you could spend a lifetime, not just a day, touring it. But if you have only one day like we did, and you can engage the awesome Still Wild Adventure Tours, then I strongly recommend you go with them and go to Grand Prismatic Spring, Old Faithful, waterfalls, canyons, and more. The wildlife (bison, moose, bears, and more) they helped us to see was simply breathtaking.

    Amazing Experience

My partner and I were staying in Jackson and went on a tour with Still Wild. Eric was our guide for the day. He was very knowledgeable and brought us to see some wolves. My partner has wanted to see wolves for as long as I have known her. Such an amazing experience. I couldn’t recommend them more.

Great Guides Make for a Great Trip!

Summing up how great of a time we had will truly be difficult. We were lucky enough to have Eric as a guide, and the day couldn’t have gone better! He was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and respectful. He was flexible and moved things around to fit our needs perfectly. We got some great pictures from him as well of a grizzly bear and her cubs as well as some elk and bison! We were on a time crunch, but Eric made sure we hit all the right things at the right time- to include watching Old Faithful erupt! I would 100% book with Eric and Still Wild again and would recommend them over and over again.

    HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I hardly leave reviews, but Eric and Bo are so worth it. The passion and kindness of these individuals are out of this world. They go above and beyond from every aspect to make sure you comfortable and know what’s going on. There’s no dumb questions and they are so knowledgeable and willing to answer and help with anything and everything. Highly highly highly recommend!

Private Yellowstone Wildlife and Geology Tour from Jackson Hole: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Grand Teton National Park.

How much does Private Yellowstone Wildlife and Geology Tour from Jackson Hole cost?

    +

Prices start at $1650 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Grand Teton National Park usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Yellowstone Wildlife and Geology Tour from Jackson Hole take?

    +

Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Grand Teton National Park is not rushed.

Is Private Yellowstone Wildlife and Geology Tour from Jackson Hole worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Grand Teton National Park, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Yellowstone Wildlife and Geology Tour from Jackson Hole?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Yellowstone Wildlife and Geology Tour from Jackson Hole suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Yellowstone Wildlife and Geology Tour from Jackson Hole?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Grand Teton National Park can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Grand Teton National Park and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Yellowstone Wildlife and Geology Tour from Jackson Hole start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Grand Teton National Park within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Grand Teton National Park?

    +

Grand Teton tours run sunrise wildlife safaris for moose and bears, Snake River float trips, Jenny Lake shuttles and hikes, and combined Yellowstone and Teton loops. On Outty we rank every Grand Teton National Park experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Yellowstone Lower Loop Full-Day Tour, Grand Teton Half Day Tour, Yellowstone National Park - Full-Day Lower Loop Tour from Jackson. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Grand Teton National Park?

    +

June to September, with wildlife most active at dawn and dusk. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Grand Teton National Park?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
