    2. Tablas Creek Vineyard

Start your one-day itinerary with a tasting of Rhone varieties at Tablas Creek Winery, an important and historic winery in Paso Robles. Recently listed in the Top 100 wineries in the world by Wine & Spirits Magazine, this winery on the west side of Paso Robles has a lot to boast about and offer guests. They’re known for starting the Rhone wine movement in the U.S. and have been offering elegant and balanced Châteauneuf-du-Pape style wines since their first vintage in 1997. They’re also pioneers in sustainability through their winemaking practices, farming, packaging and more, and recently became the world’s first Regenerative Organic Certified vineyard.

    3. Brecon Estate

Visit Brecon Estate winery for a relaxed tasting of small production wines and a picnic in a tranquil setting. Nestled in the oak studded hills of the Santa Lucia Mountains, the winery & tasting room were built using recycled materials and won numerous architecture awards for its design – all intended to reconnect its physical presence to the terroir, while offering a welcoming and relaxing environment. The limestone terroir specifically is what drove Damian Grindley, a proud Welshman and avid cave explorer, to settle in Paso Robles and produce small-batch award winning wines from historic sustainably farmed estate vineyards, with a focus on Bordeaux varieties.

      90 minutes here

    4. Calcareous Vineyard

Finish the day at Calcareous Winery, perched atop the Santa Lucia mountains with epic views and a great combination of Rhone and Bordeaux varieties. The name comes from the limestone based Calcareous soils where father and daughter team – Lloyd Messer and Dana Brown – chose to plant their estate vineyard at the top of a mountain in early 2000. It is a true labor of love cultivating vineyards on the steep hillsides and challenging topography, but the goal is to craft high-quality, small-lot terroir driven wines.

Jennifer was the best! We will definitely book in the future.

We had an amazing experience with Toast Tours for my grandma’s 80th birthday celebration! Booking the bus was the perfect way to make the day special, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Jennifer was our guide and driver, and she was absolutely fantastic. This was actually our third tour with her, and every time she has been incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and so much fun. She always makes everyone feel welcome, shares interesting facts along the way, and keeps the experience entertaining from beginning to end. Our family had a wonderful time celebrating together, and Jennifer played a huge part in making the day so memorable. We will definitely be booking with Toast Tours again and will be requesting Jennifer for future trips. Highly recommend!

Private Wine Tour -- Don't pass it up!

Kristina was so great to work with in planning and customizing our tour. They picked us up directly from the train station and had snacks and water for us. Her husband was our driver and was very flexible in where we wanted to go after our wine tastings and fun in doing so. It was a trip with my three daughters and we all think this was the highlight of our 7 day trip to California. I'm not even a wine lover. We highly recommend this tour and experience. You won't have any regrets!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paso Robles.

How much does Private Wine Tour in Paso Robles cost?

    +

Prices start at $665 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paso Robles usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Wine Tour in Paso Robles take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paso Robles is not rushed.

Is Private Wine Tour in Paso Robles worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 74 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Paso Robles, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Wine Tour in Paso Robles?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Private Wine Tour in Paso Robles suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Wine Tour in Paso Robles?

    +

Around 26 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paso Robles can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paso Robles and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paso Robles within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Paso Robles?

    +

Paso Robles, CA packs its best experiences into walkable neighborhoods, local food, and day trips nearby. Outty ranks every bookable tour and activity in Paso Robles by rating quality, review depth, booking demand and value, so you can see the standouts before you book. On Outty we rank every Paso Robles experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3-Winery Paso Robles Tour with Picnic Lunch & Tasting Fees, 3-Winery Paso Robles Tour with Picnic Lunch from Paso Robles, Paso Robles Wine Adventure within the Paso Robles Wine Region. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Paso Robles?

    +

Spring and fall bring the best weather and lighter crowds in Paso Robles, while summer has the widest choice of tours and evening activities. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Paso Robles?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
