Madeira West Tour
Our experience touring Madeira was absolutely incredible thanks to this company. From the breathtaking coastal views and mountain landscapes to the charming villages and local food recommendations, every part of the tour felt authentic and thoughtfully planned. David and Katia are warm, knowledgeable, and shared so much about Madeira’s history, culture, and hidden gems that we never would have discovered on our own. The day was relaxed, well organized, and truly one of the highlights of our time in Portugal. If you’re visiting Madeira and want a memorable, stress-free experience, I highly recommend booking with this tour company! We now live here and still take tours with our family when they visit. The highlight of our Madeira trip
We had an amazing day exploring the west side of Madeira with David. The tour felt very relaxed and personal, not rushed like the big bus tours. We visited beautiful viewpoints, Porto Moniz, small local villages and the Fanal forest. David adjusted the day depending on the weather and traffic, which made a big difference. You can really tell he knows the island well. One of the best parts was that it didn’t feel too touristy. We stopped at local places we would never have found by ourselves and had enough time at each stop without feeling pressured. The vehicle was comfortable, pickup was easy from our hotel in Funchal, and communication on WhatsApp before the tour was excellent. If you want to experience Madeira with a local instead of a standard commercial tour, we highly recommend Explore Madeira Tours. Thank you David & Cátia for a fantastic experience 🙂
