A good intro to the city and the culture, just as promised.
Our small group walked quite a bit in the old city up into the old Kastellet fortress area, then down to the Amalienborg and Rosenborg Palaces, just into the shopping district, over to the Nyhaven canal, and ended up in and around Christiansborg Palace and the tranquil Royal Library garden. The route helped build my mental map which I needed as I later walked the city on my own. With the smorrebrod lunch, I think the tour is a good value. Just be prepared for a lot of walking. Maybe take a taxi or give yourself some extra time to find the meeting place. The street signs can be a little confusing.
