Laura customised the tour...
Laura customised the tour as I had been to Santiago previously, which was lovely and thoughtful. We had very good conversations and she was very kind. I'd highly recommend her. The thing that you may want to be aware of is that you'll pay the museums for the guide as well as this is not included.

Great Tour of Santiago
Great tour of Santiago covering all of the city highlights. Favorite sites were cable car to San Cristobal Hill via cable car with statute of Virgin Mary at top and Cerro Santa Lucia. My wonderful guide Mauricio took many pictures and pictures with me. I was able to book the tour last minute and it was worthwhile. Mauricio took good care of me the during the entire tour. I highly recommend this tour to see all of Santiagos major attractions.

Highlights of Santiago
Saw all of the highlights of Santiago. Favorite places were San Cristobal Hill via cable car with statute of Virgin Mary and also Cerro Santa Lucia. I had flown into Santiago and was tired from the flight but my guide Mauricio was able to do the tour with a last minute reservation. Mauricio took many pictures for me and also with me in the pictures. He sent me pictures via WhatsApp. A lot of walking is involved in this tour but that is how you get to see everything. I highly recommend this tour.

Everyone needs to do this tour
What a wonderful tour we had a Santiago. We covered so many things, but yet everything was calm and in full of great experiences and food. Our guide was fantastic and fun and interactive and we could’ve not asked for a better time.
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for the kind words! We're so happy you had an amazing time in Santiago. Your guide will be thrilled to hear this! Can’t wait to have you join us on another adventure sometime soon! Atte: Patricio

Private Walking Tour and Cable Car: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santiago.
How much does Private Walking Tour and Cable Car cost?
+
Prices start at $110 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santiago usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Walking Tour and Cable Car take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santiago is not rushed.
Is Private Walking Tour and Cable Car worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 44 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Santiago, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Walking Tour and Cable Car?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Private Walking Tour and Cable Car suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Walking Tour and Cable Car?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santiago can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santiago and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Walking Tour and Cable Car start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santiago within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santiago?
+
On Outty we rank every Santiago experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Maipo Valley Wine Tour with 4 vineyards from Santiago., Valparaiso Port and Viña del Mar with Casablanca Wine Tasting, Santiago: Valparaiso, Viña del Mar & Casablanca Wine Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santiago?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santiago?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
