About this experience

We will visit two of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Santiago. We will start with the normal Parque Quinta to continue with the most colorful and artistic neighborhood in the city, "El Barrio Yungay" which appears on the list of the coolest neighborhoods in the world. Its history will transport us in time through its architecture from the 20s and to that are added all the GRAFFITIS and street art that stands out in the neighborhood. We will continue discovering the Barrio Brasil which, with its very bohemian essence, allows us to have a wide variety of Bars and Restaurants close to the end point of the tour: the Concha y Toro Neighborhood, another architectural work of art in the sector.

Beware of same day bookings

Book in Advance or beware. This tour operator is a solo operation and we bought a tour the day of that was available and they were “in the mountains on another tour” no communication. We showed up at the designated spot and they were not there. We ended up doing it on our own. Seems a bit pricey too

Lovely walk, authentic perspective of Santiago

Valeria was an amazing guide: her energy is wonderful and she was very insightful and thoughtful about history, politics and current societal dynamics. She took us through the Parque Quinta Normal to the Barrio Yungay to the Barrio Brazil. We really saw another face of Santiago after having walked through downtown.

How far in advance should I book Private Walking Tour to Barrio Yungay Santiago?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santiago?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santiago?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
