Wildlife tour
Communication with the company was great. Our guide Jack reached out the day before to confirm the meeting place and time which was helpful. Jack was also very accommodating during the day based off of our wants. We saw great wildlife except for a bear, but not because of lack of trying. Highly recommended will be back during the summer to experiencing it again.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words. We are thrilled to hear that your experience with both our team and Jack made such a positive impression from start to finish. Jack takes great pride in making sure every guest feels prepared and taken care of, so it means a lot to hear that his communication and flexibility stood out. Wildlife can always keep us on our toes, and while the bears kept their distance this time, we love that you appreciated the effort that went into trying to find one. We truly appreciate the recommendation and cannot wait to have you back with us this summer. There is always something new and exciting to experience in Yellowstone, and we would love the opportunity to make your next visit even more unforgettable.

Yellowstone wildlife tour
Jack was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. He has 2 degrees in biology which he continues to use in the great living lab that is Yellowstone. We saw wolves, bald eagle, elk, prong horns, and bison. He took nature videos of what we saw and sent them to us later. It was an awesome experience for our whole family. Would highly recommend this experience and ask for Jack for the private tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review! We love hearing how impactful Jack’s knowledge and passion made your experience. His background in biology truly adds another layer to the tour, and Yellowstone really is the ultimate living classroom. It’s amazing that you were able to see such an incredible variety of wildlife, including wolves. That is always such a special sighting. We are so glad the videos he captured helped you relive those moments. That is something we love being able to provide for our guests so the memories last well beyond the day. It means a lot to hear that your whole family had an awesome experience. Thank you again for the recommendation, and we would love to have you back out with us anytime.

Our guide, Jack, was absolutely amazing! He is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and a great driver as well. He had so many great ways of explaining everything we saw today and even our teenagers were interested. He tailored the trip to what we were interested in and went out of his way to make it a memorable day. Would recommend him to everyone

His knowledge, ability to read a group, and passion for what he does make every tour feel personal and unforgettable. We love hearing that even the teenagers were engaged, that’s always a huge win and a testament to how well Jack brings the park to life. The fact that he tailored the day to your interests and went the extra mile to create a memorable experience is exactly what we strive for on every tour. We sincerely appreciate your recommendation and hope we get the opportunity to guide you again on your next Yellowstone adventure!

We’ll be back!
What an amazing day! This was our first trip to Yellowstone and we’re already planning a return! Jack was an absolute rockstar of a guide. Knowledgeable, communicative, considerate, and flexible! He had our priorities in mind throughout, but also opened our eyes to additional beautiful aspects of the park. Waterfalls, rivers, streams, bison, fox, coyotes, even wolves and bears from a distance! We have some great footage because Jack often pops out often and captures sightings with his keen eye and high tech scopes. Can’t wait for the next time!
Response from the operator: What an incredible first Yellowstone experience, thank you so much for sharing this! We love hearing that you’re already planning a return, that’s exactly what Yellowstone tends to do to people. Jack will be thrilled to hear your kind words. He truly has a gift for reading his guests, keeping your priorities front and center while also showing those unexpected moments that make the day so special. It sounds like you had an amazing lineup of wildlife and scenery, from waterfalls and rivers to wolves and bears. Those are the days we live for. And we’re so glad you were able to take home great footage as well, Jack takes a lot of pride in helping guests capture those memories through the scope. We can’t wait to have you back out with us for your next adventure.

Private/VIP Wildlife Winter Safari of Yellowstone: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Yellowstone National Park.
How much does Private/VIP Wildlife Winter Safari of Yellowstone cost?
+
Prices start at $350 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Yellowstone National Park usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private/VIP Wildlife Winter Safari of Yellowstone take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Yellowstone National Park is not rushed.
Is Private/VIP Wildlife Winter Safari of Yellowstone worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 31 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Yellowstone National Park, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private/VIP Wildlife Winter Safari of Yellowstone?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private/VIP Wildlife Winter Safari of Yellowstone suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private/VIP Wildlife Winter Safari of Yellowstone?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Yellowstone National Park can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Yellowstone National Park and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private/VIP Wildlife Winter Safari of Yellowstone start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Yellowstone National Park within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Yellowstone National Park?
+
Yellowstone tours run geyser basins and Grand Prismatic, Lamar Valley wolf and bison watching at dawn, photography workshops and winter snowcoach trips. Distances inside the park are enormous, so itinerary honesty matters more than anything else. On Outty we rank every Yellowstone National Park experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Guided Yellowstone Day Tour, Lower Loop Van Tour from West Yellowstone: Grand Prismatic and Old Faithful, Lake Yellowstone Half Day Kayak Tours Past Geothermal Features. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Yellowstone National Park?
+
May to September, plus December to March for snowcoach tours. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Yellowstone National Park?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Private/VIP Wildlife Winter Safari of Yellowstone?
+
Included: Private transportation; Scopes/Binoculars; and Breakfast/Snacks/Waters. Not included: Gratuities; and National Park Entrance Fees. We recommend purchasing annual parks pass. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does Private/VIP Wildlife Winter Safari of Yellowstone include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered, or you can meet at the start point instead from 12 listed pickup locations in and around Yellowstone National Park. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.
What languages is Private/VIP Wildlife Winter Safari of Yellowstone offered in?
+
It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Private/VIP Wildlife Winter Safari of Yellowstone?
+
