Best Private Tour in Vienna!
We booked a private music tour with Lisa. She was very helpful before the tour with options traveling to the opera house where we met her. She was very informative and friendly and we learned a lot about the musicians who lived and worked in Vienna. It was really wonderful!
Response from the operator: Hi Robyn! Thanks so much for your sweet review! I'm so happy you enjoyed the tour!! Have a great day!

The best way to see Vienna
Lisa is wonderful! She is so knowledgeable and engaging— it was my daughter & I’s first time in Vienna and she kicked off our trip perfectly. She tailored our tour to our interests, walked us through the major sites, and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend to any group of any ages!
Response from the operator: Hi jennifer!! thank you so much for your kind review! We are so happy you enjoyed the tour :)

Lisa was such a bundle of...
Lisa was such a bundle of joy during our music tour of the Vienna State Opera and the surrounding music buildings. She brought a very lively energy to her entire interaction with us. Even if members of your party aren’t super interested in music or history, her explanations of the architecture of the buildings were funny when appropriate which made the tour even more entertaining. On top of that, Lisa was very personable and there was never any awkward silence when in conversation with her. Lisa was always looking out for the group. When she heard that we were interested in seeing a concert in one of the churches in the city, she happily made the effort to check if there were still tickets available (Spoiler alert: She found out tickets were already sold out by the time she had asked, but the effort she made was greatly appreciated!) Would definitely recommend Lisa for future tours!!
Response from the operator: Hi Liane!! Wow thank you for SUCH a kind review!! i am SO happy you enjoyed the tour, and I had so much fun with you and your family!! I hope you all enjoyed Elektra!!

Amazing private music tour!
Lisa is the best! amazing! She was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Lisa went out of her way to accommodate our needs — we were a group of four adults and two children, and she made sure everyone felt included and comfortable. We all adored her! Touring Vienna with Lisa was a wonderful experience - not only did we enjoy the walk, but we also learned so much thanks to her insights and storytelling.
Response from the operator: Hi Tina, thanks SO much for your wonderful review!!! We are so happy you enjoyed the tour so much :)

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Vienna Music Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Vienna.
How much does Private Vienna Music Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $296 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Vienna usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Vienna Music Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Vienna is not rushed.
Is Private Vienna Music Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Vienna, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Vienna Music Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Vienna Music Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Vienna Music Tour?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Vienna can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Vienna and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Vienna Music Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Vienna within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Vienna?
+
On Outty we rank every Vienna experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Authentic Vienna Food Tour inc. lunch, street food, 3 drinks, Vienna Food Tour: Coffeehouses, Markets, Lunch & Street Food, Budapest Small-Group Day Trip from Vienna. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Vienna?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Vienna?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
