Wonderful tour
We had a 2 day private tour with Lux, day 1 covering sunrise over Angkor Wat, temples and the floating village whilst day 2 was in the Kulen mountains national park. Lux was very polite, helpful, knowledgeable and communicative. He adapted the day 2 element as we wanted to see the Elephant Pond and this then included a 2 hr motorcycle ride which was a major bonus to the tour. Both days Lux arrived promptly int he morning with our driver. For day 1 we were collected at 4.30 and driven to Angkor Wat first we watched the sky change colours prior to sunrise outside the western gate and then went into the temple for the actual sunrise. Lux was very knowledgeable and took us to hidden details that we would have missed on our own. After spending sufficient time at Angkor Wat we went for breakfast and then resumed the temple tour with Angkor Thom and Bayon temples. We were then taken back to our apartment for an afternoon rest and then collected again at 4pm and driven to the floating village which is highly worth a visit and then went on a boat trip to watch the sunset over the lake. Day 2 was spent in the Kulen mountains. First we were taken to an amazing viewpoint and then to the 1000 lingams. We then went on the part the we added to the tour which was a bike ride to the Elephant pond [$25ea] which was amazing fun and a place very little visited - we were the only 3 visitors there that day!! The motorcycle ride then continued to Domrei Krab temple and then back up to Phnom Kulen waterfall for a swim. Overall, 2 amazing days with an excellent driver and Lux our amazing guide. We would thoroughly recommend Lux and ACT for tours around Siem Reap.

Must visit Kampong Phluk
Lux our guide spoke very good English, was very accommodating and informative, and looked after us with amazing hospitality. We visited Kampong Phluk and it was such an eye opener seeing how the locals lived there.

An exciting and memorable visit
We had a fantastic 2-day tour with Ngoun. If you want to spend a day or two in Siem Reap and surroundings, learn not just about the history but see all impressive sites from another angle, learn stories, see details and have a comfortable and well organised trip, look no further. Ngoun had also organised our transfer (well air-conditioned van, a super friendly driver who was meeting us with cold towels and cold water after each walk). Ngoun is a storyteller. And he really makes an effort to provide an experience ro remember. We started our day with the sunrise over Angkor Wat, we were first on the spot and had the best location, picked by Ngoun. He accommodated our wishes for changes in the program (we did Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, Ta Prom, but skipped the waterfalls and visited the Banteay Srei temple instead). Ngoun included upon our request stops not provided for in the program (a silk production factory supporting local women). Have not seen mentioned in other reviews but cannot stress enough an additional benefit of making a tour with Ngoun: he turned to know great photo spots and was taking super pictures of us, truly instagrammable without further editing. We perceived Ngoun’s skill for making photos as a great add-on to our tour. Thanks Ngoun for making our day so memorable!

Wonderful tour and n Angkor
We were two couples visiting Angkor together and we had a great trip me visiting the temples. ACT arranged everything. Lux was very responsive for planning. Ran, our guide, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended.
Response from the operator: Wow! It sounds like you and your friends had a truly wonderful time exploring Angkor with us. We're so thrilled to hear that Lux's planning went smoothly and that Ran's guidance made your temple visits so enjoyable. Knowing that Ran's knowledge and friendly demeanor stood out is fantastic feedback for us. Thank you so much for the high recommendation! We hope to welcome you back to Siem Reap again someday.

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Two Days Siem Reap Temples Discovery Guided Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.
How much does Private Two Days Siem Reap Temples Discovery Guided Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Two Days Siem Reap Temples Discovery Guided Tour take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.
Is Private Two Days Siem Reap Temples Discovery Guided Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Two Days Siem Reap Temples Discovery Guided Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Two Days Siem Reap Temples Discovery Guided Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private Two Days Siem Reap Temples Discovery Guided Tour?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Two Days Siem Reap Temples Discovery Guided Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?
+
On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Siem Reap?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
