Perfect Day on Horseback
I wanted to take a moment to personally thank Simone for an incredible day in the Tuscan Countryside. First and foremost the love the Simone has for her home and her horses shine. I am a rider and the most important thing to me is the care and love of the horses which is evident here. Since I am experienced I was able to trot and canter but each ride is catered to the level of the riders. We explored the countryside which was spectacular and after the ride she look me to Villa Travignoli where we got to tour the estate learn the history, learn about wine production followed by wine tasting. Since I did not have a car Simone picked me up in Florence. She even stopped by a local market to allowed me to purchase a local treat that is only made in a village where my great grandfather came from. If you love the countryside and you love horses and different experiences do not hesitate to book a tour. I am looking forward to my next visit and will immediately reach out to Simone maybe to ride and go truffle hunting😀😉
Response from the operator: Very dear Thank you very much for your detailed and great review. The treat is typical of the town of Lamporecchio, very well known in Tuscany. Call us for new horse riding adventures and more typical products next time you will be in Florence, very kind rgds Simona

Beautiful Afternoon in Tuscany
The half-day tour exceeded our expectations. Simona and Marco drove us for approximately 30 minutes through the Tuscan hills to the stables. Here, we learned quite a bit about the area's history. Luca was our guide on the horseback ride and was very accommodating as well as knowledgeable on the area. After the ride Simona and Marco drove us to a 17th century wine estate. The private tour and lunch were both first-class. Sara was our host and was long on the history of the estate as well as the beginnings of the ancient vineyards. A must for anyone.
Response from the operator: Dear Gordon, it was a pleasure to do our best to get you experience "our" Tuscany on the hills near Florence. We'll be honored to welcome you again one day. Very best regards, Simona and all our team, our horses too.

Amazing experience!!
My husband and I spent two weeks in Italy and Spain, and this ranks highest on our list of experiences. Marco (our driver) and Simona (our guide) were so sweet! The horseback riding experience was incredible!! The winery was beautiful and Sara (winery tour guide) was also kind and knowledgeable. It was a wonderful escape from the city and truly memorable experience!!
Response from the operator: Dear guests, what an amazing review! Thank you for choosing our tour, we are ready to see you again for another beautiful day in Italy. Come again!

Exceptional in every way
We absolutely loved everything about this special day. Simona picked us up from Florence and drove us to the ranch where we met our horses. We then rode to Castello Nippozana with Elaria our guide who kept us safe. On arrival at the castle we enjoyed an incredibly informative winery tour with Thomas. We finished with an amazing lunch and wine tasting. So much wine it was challenging to get back on our horses! Such a beautiful day. Thanks Simona for making our day in Tuscany the best ever. 🙏🙌
Response from the operator: Dear Fiona , we are very glad that you enjoyed our unique tour so much! We easily adapt the way back to the barn so that our guests enjoy it on horseback in relaxation also after the wine tour. And you afforded it very well. Come back for a new ride, a new trail to a new winery, you and your family will be most welcome again. Simona

Would recommend to anyone
Truly great experience. The horseback riding through the beautiful countryside was great for people with little to no experience on horseback. The tour of the winery and estate was very thorough and personal. Could not ask for a better host.
Response from the operator: Dear guests, thank you for your perfect and traight review about our tour including your warm recommendation to take it. We'll be glad to welcome you again in the same way for a new tour in Tuscany. Very best regards, Simona

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Tuscany Horse Ride, Wine Tasting and local food at Estate: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Private Tuscany Horse Ride, Wine Tasting and local food at Estate cost?
+
Prices start at $288 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Tuscany Horse Ride, Wine Tasting and local food at Estate take?
+
Plan for about 5.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Private Tuscany Horse Ride, Wine Tasting and local food at Estate worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 54 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tuscany Horse Ride, Wine Tasting and local food at Estate?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Tuscany Horse Ride, Wine Tasting and local food at Estate suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Tuscany Horse Ride, Wine Tasting and local food at Estate?
+
Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 5.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Tuscany Horse Ride, Wine Tasting and local food at Estate start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
