Private Transportation from Airport to Oia

HORRIBLE

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! We are lunch at a restaurant in Oia and asked our server if we could book a taxi to Fira. She went to the hotel and booked it for us, saying it would be 35Euro and the driver would arrive in about 20 minutes. He arrived about 25 minutes later and seemed very friendly. We asked about two different beaches in Santorini. He recommended the black sand beach. I asked what it would cost to drive us there first and wait about 10 minutes for us to take pictures. Then take us to Fira. He said 120.00Euro which seemed high, but I agreed. It took about 40 minutes to drive to the beach. He dropped us off at a spot and told us we could walk along the beach and take pictures. He told us to walk to Seaside Cafe, which would take about 20 minutes, including time to stop for pictures. It was the middle of the day and very hot with no shade. We walked at a moderate pace and did stop to take pictures but not a crazy amount. We walked and walked and walked. We were getting worried we had head the name of the meeting place wrong. After 2.5km of walking for close to an hour, we finally saw him. We had walked the entire length of the beach. He said to us that we were late and our taxi fare was now 35Euro more. I argued with him but he said all I could do was call the office. He also wanted me to pay cash, which I didn’t have. He drove us to a van 1.5km outside of Fira. I called the taxi office when we got out at the bank but got nowhere. The woman on the other end told me we had made him wait an hour at the beach for us and that he had stayed in the area where he dropped us off. I hung up, gave to taxi driver the 120 Euro we had originally agreed on and we walked the rest of the way in the sun and heat to Fira. So, I payed 120 Euro for about 50 minutes of a taxi driver and 5km of unexpected and unenjoyable walking. WHAT A SCAM!!!!

Exceptional experience with great cars and drivers

One of the best taxi oerators we have ever used, anywhere in the world! We ran into Apostolis when we were looking for transportation to our hotel from Ammoudi Bay, and have used this service over 6 times in 3 days to go from our hotel to Oia, Fira, Vyclada and Perivolos. The transports were all top notch customized Mercedes Sprinter vans, and were always on time with no issues finding places we were going to. Highly recommend using this service in Santorini.

Excellent Vehicle and Service

We were picked up by Apostolis in a very nice MB Van. We are four couples traveling together in Greece. He was on time and very attentive.

New vehicle, great driver, fun experience

After a sunset meal at one end of the island, we used ACL to bring us back to our hotel. Excellent new mercedes van, tripped out with fun neon lighting, tunes playing, great driver, well worth the money.
