More Than a Shuttle — Harold & Dylan Made Our Costa Rica Trip Incredible!
RideCR Was One of the Highlights of Our Costa Rica Vacation! Our family just returned from an incredible 9-day trip through Costa Rica, and we honestly cannot say enough good things about RideCR. We used them for our private transportation throughout the country, and they were absolutely outstanding. Five stars isn't enough! Our first driver was Harold, who picked us up at the Holiday Inn Express near San José and drove us to Shana by the Beach in Manuel Antonio. What could have simply been a transfer between hotels turned into one of the best days of our vacation. Harold was incredibly safe, friendly and fun. Along the way, we made three memorable stops — at a butterfly conservatory, the Tárcoles Crocodile Bridge, and Jacó, where we stopped to see the Scarlet Macaws. He shared information about Costa Rica throughout the drive, took numerous family photos for us, and never made us feel rushed. By the time we arrived in Manuel Antonio, it felt as though we had been on a private tour rather than an airport/hotel transfer. For the remainder of our trip we were fortunate enough to have Dylan, and he was absolutely amazing. His English is fluent, his knowledge of Costa Rica is exceptional, and he added so much to our experience. As we travelled through the country, Dylan taught us about the history, geography, culture and everyday life of Costa Rica. We followed his recommendations for local sodas, places to shop and stops along our routes, and they were excellent. Most importantly, we always felt completely safe with both drivers. Anyone who has travelled through Costa Rica knows that some of the roads can be narrow, winding and challenging — especially during heavy tropical rain. There were several times when we looked outside at the rain and the mountain roads and said to each other, "We are SO glad we're not driving!" Dylan's driving was exceptional. We could simply relax, enjoy the scenery and spend time together as a family. What impressed us most about RideCR was that this never felt like simply hiring a shuttle company. Harold and Dylan became part of our Costa Rican experience. They helped us see places we otherwise would have driven past, introduced us to local food and culture, taught us about the country, and helped create some wonderful family memories. We travelled from San José to Manuel Antonio, Manuel Antonio to La Fortuna, through Guanacaste to Playa Hermosa, and finally to Liberia Airport, and RideCR made the transportation between destinations one of the easiest and most enjoyable parts of our entire vacation. To Harold and Dylan — thank you. You helped make our family's first Costa Rican adventure something we will remember for many years. If you're visiting Costa Rica and are debating between renting a car and hiring private transportation, we would choose RideCR again without hesitation. Safe. Professional. Knowledgeable. Friendly. Reliable. An absolutely exceptional company with exceptional drivers. 🇨🇷 Pura Vida, Harold and Dylan! Thank you from our family in Canada! 🇨🇦

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Transfer From Manuel Antonio To La Fortuna From 1 to 6 passengers: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Quepos.
How much does Private Transfer From Manuel Antonio To La Fortuna From 1 to 6 passengers cost?
+
Prices start at $353 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Quepos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Transfer From Manuel Antonio To La Fortuna From 1 to 6 passengers take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Quepos is not rushed.
Is Private Transfer From Manuel Antonio To La Fortuna From 1 to 6 passengers worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 70 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Quepos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Transfer From Manuel Antonio To La Fortuna From 1 to 6 passengers?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Private Transfer From Manuel Antonio To La Fortuna From 1 to 6 passengers suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Transfer From Manuel Antonio To La Fortuna From 1 to 6 passengers?
+
Around 25 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Quepos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Quepos and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Transfer From Manuel Antonio To La Fortuna From 1 to 6 passengers start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Quepos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Quepos?
+
On Outty we rank every Quepos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whitewater Rafting Savegre Class II-III plus Waterfall Manuel Antonio, Manuel Antonio Canopy Tour - Longest Twin Zip Line in Central America, Waterfall Ziplining & Canyoning. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Quepos?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Quepos?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
