Pedro is the best driver!

Pedro drove my husband and me from our hotel in Manuel Antonio to the airport in San Jose. He was very friendly and his driving was safe and efficient. Best of all, he was very patient and helpful with my limited Spanish and we had great conversations. 100% recommend Pedro!!

Response from the operator: Thank you for the 100% recommendation! We are so happy to hear Pedro made your Private Transfer from Manuel Antonio to SJO Airport such a pleasant end to your trip. We know the drive to the airport can sometimes feel long | so having a driver who is not only safe and efficient but also great company makes all the difference. We are especially glad he was patient and helpful with your Spanish! Good conversation is the absolute best way to pass the time on that route. Thanks for choosing us to get you home safely. Pedro is the best!

Pedro was such a kind and helpful driver. He offered us great information about many different aspects of Costa Rica and ideas for what we should do whenever we return. And when we do return, we will definitely call Pedro!

Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful review! We are so glad Pedro made your transfer smooth and enjoyable. We believe a transfer should be more than just a ride, so it is great to hear he shared some local knowledge to help inspire your next visit. We look forward to welcoming you back to Costa Rica—Pedro will be ready to pick you up! Pura Vida, The Tucanes Tours Team

Pedro personal driver was amazing!

Pedro was our personal driver from Manuel Antonio. We were stressed about making it to our next destination, but Pedro was very helpful and fun. We ran into many roadblocks including water, fallen trees, and flat tires that turned our hour long venture into a six hour ordeal. But Pedro stayed positive and helped us through all of it while being selfless. We probably would not have made it, or another drive would have turned around if it wasn’t for him. Also his car was very clean and well kept. 10/10 would highly recommend him.

Great Experience

The driver showed up early and was super helpful with loading our luggage. He explained a bit of the culture and history of Costa Rica and pointed out interesting landmarks and animals along the way. We stopped at a restaurant for breakfast and made it to the airport with plenty of time.

Private Transfer from Manuel Antonio to SJO Airport or Hotels: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Quepos.

How much does Private Transfer from Manuel Antonio to SJO Airport or Hotels cost?

+

Prices start at $300 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Quepos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Transfer from Manuel Antonio to SJO Airport or Hotels take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Quepos is not rushed.

Is Private Transfer from Manuel Antonio to SJO Airport or Hotels worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Quepos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Transfer from Manuel Antonio to SJO Airport or Hotels?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Transfer from Manuel Antonio to SJO Airport or Hotels suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Transfer from Manuel Antonio to SJO Airport or Hotels?

+

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Quepos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Quepos and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Transfer from Manuel Antonio to SJO Airport or Hotels start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Quepos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Quepos?

+

On Outty we rank every Quepos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whitewater Rafting Savegre Class II-III plus Waterfall Manuel Antonio, Manuel Antonio Canopy Tour - Longest Twin Zip Line in Central America, Waterfall Ziplining & Canyoning. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Quepos?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Quepos?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
