The west Tour begins in the fishing town of Câmara de Lobos. Then we journey up to Cabo Girao, the highest cliff in Europe and the second in the world. After being in the top of the world we continue our journey to see the nice view of Serrad'agua valley. After enjoying the view, we head to São Vicente, where we can see most of the Laurisilva forest in the island and famous for caves of volcanic origin. Continuing to the north, we go to Porto Moniz, known worldwide for its natural lava pools. If you want to swim, we can make sure there is some time for that. Finally we get to a hidden place - the window to Porto Moniz, Ribeira da Janela, finalizing the day in Lameiros to see an amazing view of São Vicente valley.

Definitely book this tour!
We had an amazing time on this tour with Marco. We were able to customize our itinerary, and pick up time. Marco was able to make changes on the fly regarding the weather and safety. We very much enjoyed the tour and it was a great introduction to the west side of the island. We also felt very safe with Marco's driving. Many of the roads were narrow and parking wasn't always readily available. We felt this was a way better alternative. FYI it would probably be cheaper to book directly with the vendor.

This was the best birthday gift ever. We got to experience the most beautiful Madeira with the best guide ever, Francisko. Francisko is a fantastic guide who has such a great knowledge about everything on the island and a gentleman, who took so good care of me and my husband and made the day unforgettable. I booked the trip based on reviews about the trip and the guide and it was so worth it. We surely will come again. Thank you Viator and the fantastic guide Francisko!

From Camara de Lobos and Winston Churchill's Bronz statue to Porto Monize and an excellent lunch, everything in between and after was an adventure for the eye. We had a really exciting day with Duarte and Francisco. We feel really comfortable with this company, in the end, they were like family.
