    Both guides were great...

Both guides were great but I feel like for the price of the tour and what you got from it, it was overpriced. We didn’t get to one village and I mainly didn’t want to go to it for fear of going over the 5 hour mark and having to pay the additional 50 euros for the additional hour. The boat tour which ended up being 160 euros for two hours was absolutely beautiful but again I think it was quite expensive considering the cost of the actual tour and then adding that 160 euro to the cost. Everything we visited was beautiful and the guides were great but I still think it was a bit overpriced for what you get.

    Not up to Viator standards.

The guide spoke little English, it was raining so no boat trip. On the drive up to the monastery and back the guide didn’t say a word about where we were or what we were passing. An hour at the beach and a few souvenir shops. He said we could eat lunch but it was 10:30. Very disappointing.

Response from the operator: Hello! Maybe you write this comment to the wrong company We never did this tour together

Better than cruise excursions, but otherwise scripted

We were on a cruise, and their excursions didn't include Angelokastro. Visiting the castle ruins were the highlight of our trip. Our only disappointment is that the driver didn't really do anything but take us to the defined points of interest. We were told we could customize our experience, but when we described what we were looking for, the driver still seemed to just follow the script. Lakones in particular was very underwhelming.

Great way to see Corfu and beaches.

Our tour of Corfu was very informative and the views and beaches on the west side of the island were spectacular. Our guide, Katerina, was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating, giving us options and letting us choose what we wanted to do. Our driver, Simon, was very professional and courteous as well. Time and money well spent.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your comments !!😃 I appreciate it that !!!😀 I hope to see you next year in Corfu✈ Corfuwayts team!!! 💎💎

Private tour to Palaiokastritsa beach and Lakwnes village: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Corfu.

How much does Private tour to Palaiokastritsa beach and Lakwnes village cost?

    +

Prices start at $207 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Corfu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private tour to Palaiokastritsa beach and Lakwnes village take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Corfu is not rushed.

Is Private tour to Palaiokastritsa beach and Lakwnes village worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Corfu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private tour to Palaiokastritsa beach and Lakwnes village?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private tour to Palaiokastritsa beach and Lakwnes village suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private tour to Palaiokastritsa beach and Lakwnes village?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Corfu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Corfu and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private tour to Palaiokastritsa beach and Lakwnes village start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Corfu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Corfu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Corfu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Food and Cultural Tour in Corfu, The Governor's Olive Mill Tour with Olive Oil Tasting, Electric Fat Bike Self Guided Tour Discover North Corfu. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Corfu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Corfu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
