    Thank you Travel Tours

I was in Germany, and my husband and I decided to take a list minute trip to Dachau before we left for home. I called Travel Tour at the last minute, and they were able to accommodate my needs, which included Picking us up from the train station, and all our luggage, taking us to Dachau and then driving us to the Munich Hilton Airport. Our driver was very nice, professional and we felt very much at ease. There was a problem with the service on my ship, so it took a while for my payment to go through, and Travel Tours did not give up on me.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. We’re truly glad we could assist you with your last-minute plans. It’s great to hear that our team was able to accommodate your tour, and we also appreciate your patience regarding the payment issue. Your feedback means a lot to us, and we’re grateful you trusted us during this part of your journey. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need anything else, we're always at your disposal. Tour of Dachau Concentration Camp by Radius Tours - September 2024

My daughter, son-in-law and I took a guided tour of Dachau with Radius Tours in Munich. The tour of Dachau was amazing and very humbling at the same time. The tour was given to us by Mark Pearson, who is an incredible tour guide! Mark was very knowledgeable and knew in detail the rise to power of Hitler and the consequences to follow before, during and after the war. If you ever have a chance to visit Dachau thru Radius Tours, be sure t ask for Mark as your guide. You will not be disappointed!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the kind words! We're very happy that you enjoyed your visit to Dachau with your guide. We look forward to hearing more from you. Please let us know if you need anything else. We are at your full disposal. Thank you once again for the incredible review. The Tour Travel & More Team

Our guide, Stephen was a delight! His English is excellent and he is a wealth of information. His tour brought us back to Dachau in the 30-40’s. A must see and do!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your message. This is very important for us and for future travellers as well. We will pass along your message to our whole team at Tour Travel & More. Please let us know if you need anything else. We are at your full disposal. Thank you once again. The Tour Travel & More Team

Private tour to Dachau Camp from Munich with driver and guide: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Munich.

How much does Private tour to Dachau Camp from Munich with driver and guide cost?

    +

Prices start at $271 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Munich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private tour to Dachau Camp from Munich with driver and guide take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Munich is not rushed.

Is Private tour to Dachau Camp from Munich with driver and guide worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Munich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private tour to Dachau Camp from Munich with driver and guide?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private tour to Dachau Camp from Munich with driver and guide suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private tour to Dachau Camp from Munich with driver and guide?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Munich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Munich and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private tour to Dachau Camp from Munich with driver and guide start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Munich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Munich?

    +

On Outty we rank every Munich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site Tour with Train from Munich, Munich Classic Bike Tour @ 11.30am with Surfers & beergarden stop, Dachau Memorial Half-Day Tour from Munich (Early-Start). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Munich?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Munich?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
