Teotihuacán and Basilica de Guadalupe

It is critical that you visit these places with people that are not only knowledgeable, but passionate about their job. Our tour guide provided deep insights, pointed out unique pieces details that we would have missed otherwise. He also kept our children engaged and excited. They also recommended a delicious local place to get tacos and they have so far been our favorite.

Amazing historic tour of Mexico City!

Absolutely amazing tour! Alicia was super knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions along the tour. She was very considerate in asking our preferences around extended walking distances and timing to lunch. Would 100% tour again.

Do not miss!

Wow! Wow! Wow! What an incredibly special experience being in a hot air balloon floating above ancient pyramids! I was a bit nervous to ride in a hot air balloon… I didn’t really know what sensation to expect, but it was all quite tranquil and serene. A beautiful journey as the sun rose above these ancient ruins. Following the balloon ride was an in depth exploration of the pyramids. Our guide Hector was incredible! Anything you could ever want to know about the pyramids or Mexican history, he could share and explain. Everything he taught us was incredibly fascinating. The trip was rounded out by a visit to the old and new basilicas de Guadalupe. What a special treat to see the cloak with the image of the virgen mary presented by Juan Diego. Again, Hector was incredible at guiding us through the cathedrals and explaining to us the cultural and historical significance of these structures. I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone desiring both adventure and knowledge.

Response from the operator: Karen, it has being a big pleasure to be your hosts in Mexico City, thank you for the preference and opportunity. We are very grateful with you and your mom. Thanks! Thanks! Thanks for thrust in Travelezza :) here you have new friends, please comeback and visit us again!

Private Tour Teotihuacan & Guadalupe Shrine Bespoke Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.

How much does Private Tour Teotihuacan & Guadalupe Shrine Bespoke Experience cost?

+

Prices start at $85 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Tour Teotihuacan & Guadalupe Shrine Bespoke Experience take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.

Is Private Tour Teotihuacan & Guadalupe Shrine Bespoke Experience worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour Teotihuacan & Guadalupe Shrine Bespoke Experience?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Tour Teotihuacan & Guadalupe Shrine Bespoke Experience suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Tour Teotihuacan & Guadalupe Shrine Bespoke Experience?

+

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Tour Teotihuacan & Guadalupe Shrine Bespoke Experience start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mexico City?

+

On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mexico City?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
