    An Incredible Teotihuacán Experience

Our visit to Teotihuacán was one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico City. The pyramids were absolutely breathtaking, and the whole experience was even better thanks to our wonderful guide, Daniel. Daniel was very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the history and culture of Teotihuacán. He explained everything in an engaging way and answered all of our questions without making the tour feel rushed or overwhelming. We really appreciated how comfortable and enjoyable he made the experience. We learned so much while still having plenty of time to take in the incredible views and explore the archaeological site. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Mexico City. Teotihuacán is a must-see, and having a great guide like Daniel makes it even more memorable. Definitely a 5-star experience!

    An Unforgettable Day at Teotihuacán!

Our trip to Teotihuacán was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The entire experience was very well organized, and everything went smoothly. Our guide, Aníbal, was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Mexican history and culture. He made the visit to Teotihuacán much more interesting by explaining the history and meaning behind the pyramids in a way that was easy to understand and truly engaging. Our driver, Eric, was also excellent. He was professional, punctual, and drove very safely, which made the transportation comfortable and stress-free throughout the day. Teotihuacán itself was incredible, but having such a great guide and driver made the experience even more special. We learned a lot, had plenty of time to enjoy the site, and felt well taken care of the entire time. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mexico City. If you get Aníbal as your guide and Eric as your driver, you’re in great hands!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful review! 😊 We’re truly happy to hear that you had an unforgettable day exploring Teotihuacán. It means a lot to us to know that Aníbal made the history and culture come alive for you, and that Eric helped make your transportation comfortable, safe, and stress-free. Simply the best

Hannibal is a hidden treasure and a wealth of knowledge. He was attentive, engaged and interesting. I appreciated his deep connection to the culture and his willingness to be flexible to take the tour the direction my boyfriend and I desired. If you get him as your guide, consider yourself amongst one of the finest humans and teachers I have encountered all over the world.

Its was an amazing trip... I was taken care by both of them... Denial and my Guide missing his name. Add it in your comments plz. Belive me when in unknown city, you have language barrier but the friends out here made it as easy as it could be... Food, water, clicking pictures and guiding your tour with the information you may not find in web world. Polke tasting was once of the things I will never forget with Jacqueline. Viator you have never failed me... you are best.

Private Tour: Teotihuacan Pyramids Basilica of Guadalupe from CDMX: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.

How much does Private Tour: Teotihuacan Pyramids Basilica of Guadalupe from CDMX cost?

    +

Prices start at $2,200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Tour: Teotihuacan Pyramids Basilica of Guadalupe from CDMX take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.

Is Private Tour: Teotihuacan Pyramids Basilica of Guadalupe from CDMX worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 34 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour: Teotihuacan Pyramids Basilica of Guadalupe from CDMX?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Tour: Teotihuacan Pyramids Basilica of Guadalupe from CDMX suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Tour: Teotihuacan Pyramids Basilica of Guadalupe from CDMX?

    +

Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Tour: Teotihuacan Pyramids Basilica of Guadalupe from CDMX start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mexico City?

    +

On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Teotihuacan 3 Pyramids Tour + Hotel Pick Up + Lunch at La Gruta, Historic Center Essentials: Mexico City Downtown Walking Tour, PREMIUM Frida Kahlo Museum and Xochimilco (Small Groups). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mexico City?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
