Perfect day
We had several things in mind we wanted to see and do. Kay was very prompt and had a perfect itinerary set up for us. The entire city was beautiful. Kay took fabulous pictures with us to preserve our great experience. And he is very witty and fun to be around.

Great tour
Great tour. Excellent vehicle. Pleasant tour guides. I would highly recommend this tour! It was just the two of us, the driver & guide. We had lots of questions about Sydney & they certainly knew their town.
Response from the operator: Hi Jon. Thanks for your lovely review. We had a great day showing you the beautiful highlights of Sydney. We're glad you enjoyed our tour.

Glenn was a wonderful tour guide...

Glenn was a wonderful tour guide... telling us about Sydneys culture and history. He took is to spectacular views of the harbor, hikes along rocky cliffs, ice cream at the charming Watson Bay community and walks along Bondi and Manly beach. We had plenty of breaks to stretch and he was excellent at educating us about this wonderful city.

Blue Mountains Tour
4 or us had an outstanding private tour with Glenn in his Mercedes van on Feb 2. A step ahead of the crowds/buses to Featherdale Park for wonderful experience there. We visited multiple viewpoints where crowds were small to non-existent. Excellent lunch at a cafe with locals. Knowledgeable about the Blue Mt history, flora, and fauna with engaging personality. Even made a stop at a local wine shop where he helped make excellent selections for upcoming cruise. Cost included return ferry to Circular Quay. He was overtime but still insisted on waiting until we departed. Great guide! Great day!
Response from the operator: Hello. Thanks for the review. It was a nice day in the Blue Mountains with your group. During peak travel times especially, we try and get to a few spots away from the crowds. I'm glad you enjoyed the wine! Happy cruising. Glenn.

Very accommodating.driver was extremely...

Very accommodating.driver was extremely patient and waited a couple of hours while we tried in vain to locate our luggage at the airport. It arrived three days later. We were able to prearrange our pickup at the airport and started the tour from there. Great introduction to Australia. Once in the vehicle the experience was once in a lifetime venture. Wonderful beginning to an excellent trip. Highly recommend this tour. Worth every penny and then some.

Why this scores 52
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Tour: Sydney Highlights In A Day: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sydney.
How much does Private Tour: Sydney Highlights In A Day cost?
+
Prices start at $1150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sydney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Tour: Sydney Highlights In A Day take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sydney is not rushed.
Is Private Tour: Sydney Highlights In A Day worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour: Sydney Highlights In A Day?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Tour: Sydney Highlights In A Day suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Tour: Sydney Highlights In A Day?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Tour: Sydney Highlights In A Day start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sydney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sydney?
+
On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Depart Syd: Blue Mountains Best All Inclusive with Local Guide, Blue Mountain Small Group Tour All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sydney?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sydney?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
